I would gladly trade 2006, in which we lost to OSU and USC, to this season at, say, 8-4 with the most electrifying college football player most of us have ever seen and a Heisman.

I love Denard, but I love winning more. I hope they don't have to be mutually exclusive due to our D.

Wins are the most important, but it feels damn good to have what many consider to be the best player in CFB on OUR side.

...but wins are all that matters?
Did I miss the memo that they are mutually exclusive? It's not like Denard is undefeated as a starter or anything.....

Denard's performance this year is putting serious challenge to Barry Sanders's Heisman year in terms of ridiculous statistical performances....
Quite simply, Denard isn't playing like a video game, Denard is The Game.

He actually did it in 4 games and 9 minutes. If he will have played the entire last game I believe he would've three 200/200 games. Anyway I think that by the end of next year he will have all of the top 10 all-purpose yards per game in Michigan history.

After all the frustrating years of molasses slow quarterbacks, Denard is absolutely amazing to watch! The only thing that will slow him down is getting injured. After he took another shot to that knee in the Indiana game, it took him a few series to shake it off and play up to his usual caliber. Give him another few years under the Barwis conditioning program and people won't be talking about whether or not he's durable enough, they'll be talking about all the shattered records.
