Fitz Toussaint Debut
Fitz Toussaint, I just saw the first 2 carries in your career. I wanted to formally welcome you to the party. I'm sorry we've been missing you.
EDIT: It appears as though I clicked the save button too slow. I was beaten to it, so I will soon bid this entry adieu...

for him. Nice debut. I hope he can do work like that against B10 teams. On a side note courtney Avery looks to be playing well, that is a plus.

He is tenacious like bull!

Thanks, Peggy

So pretty.

i like him a lot. hes fast, hes stout, has a low center of gravity so its hard to get a clean hit on him.

Can't wait to see more Fitz.

Isn't anyone a little surprised that he got caught from behind though? I think he ran a 10.7 100 meter in H.S. Maybe the knee slowed him down a little?

No i'm not surprised because the kid has had a nagging injury all year long. Give the kid a break and respect his performance and effort instead of bashing his speed and getting caught from behind.

Negged for being a douche.

Okay, now that it seems Toussaint and Cox are better than Vincent Smith, hopefully Smith won't be getting starter-level carries much longer...

Amen!

We've only seen these two compete against terrible opponents. We've yet to see them rush against quality opponents, much less block or catch passes. Smith is very good at the latter two.

Great. Smith is a good blocker and pass catcher.
That's EXACTLY what we need from a kid who gets starter-level numbers of handoffs.
Taylor Lewan is a good blocker, too. Maybe he can start at running back if Smith gets hurt!

We are not going to put in a back just to be a blocker/receiver. We did enough of that crap under Mike DeBord. Smith scored two TDs yesterday. Lay off him already.

Wow. He scored two TDs. He must be great.

I was up north near Harrisville watching the game at a bar. I think everyone thought I was a little strange when I stood up after Fitz made that really long run and I started yelling "I TOLD YOU THAT KID WAS GONNA BE GOOD" to nobody in particular.
