Let this be a lesson to Mr. Brandon.....
Please do not schedule any FCS teams.
The loss to App State was absolutely embarassing. Two losses to FCS schools, in 4 years none the less, would have been devastating to this program. The negatives far outweigh the opportunity for additional revenues.
Plus, my heart can't take it anymore.
That is all.

How about the fact that UMass played App State in the 2006 national-title game, or that they've been competitive against almost every I-A team they've faced?

The consensus is that UMass was a pretty decent team. Our team will be able to take more from this game film and become a better team than Oregon (who beat Portland St. 100000-0). Indiana's been toiling around with FCS teams all season but how much have they improved?
As much as I love Denard, he'd started only two college games before Saturday. He's not ready to play a quarter, rack up 21 points and sit for three quarters. He needs to play a full game and get all kinks out before conference play. The same goes for everyone.
I want to find our about the holes in our special teams now instead of in a tight game with MSU or Iowa next month. You only get better by playing good competition and that's what we've had for three weeks. How many other Big 10 teams can say the same?

How did you get negative 657?
I will give you a charity +1

How far we've fallen...when we sink to discussing avoiding good FCS teams.
This entire thread is pathetic.
