dude, tom brady is the man
did anyone else catch his interview on ESPN about his ongoing contract?
said he's happy just to have a job and he's not gonna "bitch" about not getting paid.
guy dates smoking hot babes and he's sick at football. I'll always feel bad about booing him off the field and cheering for henson to take his place.
the hail are you talking about?
his first few years were absolute brutality.
Do you even know what you are talking about?
Tom Brady didn't start until his final two years and he put up solid stats and performances both years - completing more than 60% of his passes each year. The previous two years before he became the starter he only attempted a total of 20 passes, on which he completed 75% of them.

a word stronger than "hyperbole" for your first sentence.
Tom Brady is the man? You don't say? Huh.
This says it all:
He's practically James Bond.
James Bond is practically Tom Brady.
Wishes he were Tom Brady.
I've never seen that before - that's awesome
He may be the man, but someone should really tell him his Justin Bieber haircut is hideous.
Are you kidding? Just saw him on ESPN and thought he looked more badass than ever.
remember: Gisele Bundchen is rooting for you. Every Saturday
Won't you win for her?
Why do we not use this as a recruiting tool? Just have a powerpoint shown to all recruits that says: "this could be your wife if you come to Michigan".
Can someone photoshop a block M on her hip? Call it a "Brady Brand".
This is the full version of my avatar:
Made it for a film class at UM.
. . .but Superman wears Tom Brady pajamas.
Sign him immediately Belichick. And get offensive and defensive coordinators while you're at it. Too much power isn't good for anyone
Once threw a touchdown pass, to himself.
Every night before the boogeyman goes to bed, he checks his closet for Tom Brady.
Brady's family crest is a picture of a barracuda, eating Neil Armstrong.
sleeps with a night light, not because he's afraid of the dark, but because the dark is afraid of Tom Brady
I once saw Tom Brady catch a crow right out of the air . . . . . .WITH HIS TEETH!
When Tom Brady jumps in the water he doesn't get wet, the water gets Tom Brady'd
Brady is the man. There's another Michigan player reporting to training camp without his contract worked out, but I can't remember who it is now. Not many guys do that.
David Harris?
All now under contract, but the first two are really underpaid ($550K each? Both probowl-ers) They're all awesome, there were licious links about them all in the last month
I remember having some idiot chickenhead (probably Henson's aunt) sitting behind me screaming to "put in HENSON!" for an entire game. I wanted to punch her in the throat.
anything about recruiting in those days, so I kept wondering why they bounced Brady for that freshman. Why couldn't he wait his turn to play, like Brady did? Especially since he didn't seem to play any better. (It wasn't only Henson's aunt calling for him to play.)
Much later learned that Henson was rated #1 pro-style QB recruit, and a couple years earlier Brady was only #7 his year, and that Steinbrenner was an OSU booster, leading to the pressure to give Henson playing time so he wouldn't take the devil's deal to play baseball. Which, as we know, he eventually did.
And all that affected Brady's NFL draft status, leading to what turned into his great Cinderella story. Increased by Brady's keeping any chip on his shoulder to himself and channeling it into his play instead of into the media or diva-osity.
Brady is indeed The Man.
Who were calling for Henson, and yank that Brady kid...that after a Super Bowl or two were all "I luvvvvv Tom Brady". I love reminding them of the past. (100% in the Tommy camp, as he lived in the apartment below me back then. But no, I wasn't expecting HoF NFL career).
Getting back to the business side of reality (although the other is more fun), there seems to be a fair amount of conjecture that all will not be well in NE should Brady not be compensated fairly. He has taken it on the financial chin for several years under the guise of by taking a lesser salary, the team will be able to have more talent. Not anymore....Tom is getting older.
Brady may well be the best QB in the NFL and needs to be paid as well or better than any other QB in the league. I'd not take what he said as suggesting a willingness to compromise again.
Also, water is wet
...the Patriots just got more intense.
No. 1 overall draft pick Sam Bradford agreed to a six-year, $78 million contract with the St. Louis Rams on Friday night, with $50 million in guaranteed money.
Some Beantown coverage of the situation.
He appealed to the masses and showed why some have him tabbed as a future politician when he mentioned it being “an interesting time in the world” and that it is important to realize that he has a job, and one that he loves. The sentiment when professional athletes get into contract squabbles is that they’re “bitching about making millions of dollars,” Brady said, but he feels there isn’t much to gripe about.
