We don't even know if he'll be the starter in the fall. I thought a few of the kickers at the spring game looked to be fairly even.
no clear starting QB at PSU. Got to slot some one in there, I guess. No TBDs in these kinds of lists.
I've got nothing against Keith Nichol. He's obviously a great athlete, but man is he getting some generous pub at a position he's been playing about 6 months.
We could say the same thing about Cam Gordon....even though he's going to be destroying people this season.
My last name is Gibbons. Am I ranked 9th? I might be just as proven...
Gibbons is #9 because they obviously agree that two kickers in the big ten would be better off not kicking at all.
It's something to kill time. Kind of like preseason polls that come out in January, take it with a grain of salt.
Snyder has an article in the Freep titled "Why the Wolverines Probably Won't Do Well in Big Ten Play", his reasoning: No Wolverines made Phil Steele's All B10 1st team and only 2 made 2nd team (Schilling and Stonum). I cannot reconcile this difference of speculative opinion, therefore I must default to Snyder, a virtuous man.
According to CFN they give the love to Wisconsin, not OSU.
There's a fun typo in Denard's entry. It says he threw 14 picks:
Needs to be higher than 12. I guess people will find that out when the season starts.
Well since he hasn't technically dethroned Forcier yet, he can't be classified with the starters. This is why he's #1 of the backups, and ranked #12 in an 11-team conference.
