Pam Ward wins award; Apocalypse nigh

Submitted by BiSB on

So... that happened...

Pam Ward has received an award for "outstanding contribution in the media to the field of intercollegiate athletics."  According to the press release, she "has come to stand out in the fact that her work is not regarded as a novelty."

There are no words.

She almost ruined Tate's Superman touchdown against Indiana with her childish-sounding "Touchdown Michigan", which she managed to get out about 10 minutes after he had obviously scored.  Why can't we get Erin Andrews or Michelle Beadle to do games?

that one day I will win an award for my singing.  Have you ever heard me sing?  No?  Well, trust me: there's a good reason.  But if Ward can win an award in a field in which she has no apparent talent, then I'm sure I'll be able to do the same.

So that's her last name, after all these years I've got such a quick trigger finger for the mute button all I ever hear is "Pam."

I wonder if the Mayans realize this escalates their time table by 2 years?...
