is a definite step up from UW DC. I'd make that move as Cal is one of those programs that should be much better than they are given everything they have going for it.

I'm really shocked penn st oc has not been giving serious consideration for these job openings. His name came up briefly for uconn but that fizzled quickly. Another coach is bamas dc. I heard Pruitt is a dick but still.

which I'm friends with, all day that Cal will never pay for a big name coach. Something about alums don't donate enough and football funds all the other programs. long story short they'll never hire a big name coach.

Chip is probably going to command too high of a salary for what Cal can offer, and I'm also guessing that as much as they'd like to have him as their coach, they don't want to risk him trying to bring in guys who aren't academically qualified for Cal.

Kelly is going to want total control and autonomy over whatever program he goes to next. He'd be a hell of a recruiter for Cal, but my guess is he'd be clashing with the Admissions Office quite a bit over getting all the kids he wants for his program. Something tells me Cal's Admissions Office wouldn't care much to enroll a kid who can run a 4.2 40, but has a 2.7 GPA in high school.
