Other Games of Import
Ok – another top team went down for the count last night.
What other upset or nail-biter predictions have you?
Chattanooga @ (1) Alabama
No – but this is the first time I have ever typed “Chattanooga”
(2) OSU @ MSU
Maybe - Lansing is supposed to get even crappier weather than Ann Arbor!
(4) Clemson @ Wake Forest
No
(7) WISC @ Purdue
NO
(8) PSU @ Rutgers
Double NO
(9) Oklahoma @ (14) WVU
Yes – I like West Virginia at home here.
(22) WSU @ (10) Colorado
No – I think Colorado wins on their D which is 11th ranked vs 50th ranked WSU.
(11) OKST @ TCU
Tossup?
Oregon @ (12) Utah
No
(13) USC @ UCLA
No
(23) Florida @ (16) LSU
Yes – Florida has a great rush defense and LSU can’t pass
(24) Stanford @ CAL
No – CAL has a horrid defense

Yeah, but that would mean that Eastern Washington has improved since then, so that loss looks better each week. After all, the committee will look at quality losses to FCS schools as positives in their own right.
Wait, did I do that right? #ESPNLogic

All I was saying is how can we all be so confident that the Colorado vs WSU game won't be a nail biter or even a potential upset?
WSU is untested on the road, so it would be a big surprise, but I don't think we can say there's no chance WSU wins just because they have losses to E. Washington and Boise St.

Um, Clemson definitely could lose.
Wake Forest was just beating Louisville (at Louisville) until the end of the third quarter.
Clemson has almost lost to Troy and NC State (Wake Forest beat NC State). This game is at Wake Forest.
Clemson is more likely to lose this weekend than we are.

Why doesn't OU play defense any more? Realize the league is offensive dominant but the year they won it......way back in the early oughts, kind of remembering they had one hell of a defense, led by a truly outstanding and hard hitting secondary. Yes, I do realize Charlie, with all that damn talent in talent rich TX hasn't been able to do much on that side of the ball. However, think OSU was quite dominant on that side of the ball when they squared off in early season. And it was definitely the D that propelled Houston to its upset of LewisVille anoche.

the year Oklahoma won it all, didn't they beat Florida State like 13-2, with Josh Heupel as their quarterback? Roy Williams (not the receiver from Texas Roy Williams, though, the other one) was a beast for them.

had any photo shop or editing skills I would put Roy Williams' (from UNC) face on the face of Roy Williams (from Oklahoma) when he dove over the line and stuffed the guy at the goal line. So...just imagine that I did it instead.

If Sparty beats PSU and OSU and we dont lose to Indy, I think we go to the playoffs if we win B1G champ game even if we lose to OSU.
