I hate to say it, but I would much rather that Brady came back against the Browns than against the Lions, although perhaps for the same reason that the Browns are perhaps wishing that they could play the Patriots, say, a week ago.
Besides, we're too busy here in Detroit trying to find a way to creatively fuck up a one-point lead against a Carson Wentz-led Eagles team.

I cant wait to see how we manage to give away our 14 point lead

In many ways, Tom Brady never left, sir. He's always offered the same high quality meals at competitive prices.

The same way ITF wanted to destroy Sharapova, their sports biggest star and highest earning woman in history. Why do some sports hate their best athletes? What in the world does it get you?
October 9th, 2016 at 4:22 PM ^
^ Sharapova is the sport's biggest star moreso because of her looks, not her tennis (Yes she is a very good player, but her looks help her in terms of earning potential more than ability; ie Kournikova).
On top of that she's from a country that is notorious for doping and had their Olympic squad banned.
Your point would be better taken if Serena was unfairly destroyed by the ITF.

I don't understand what relevance any of the issues you raised have on my comparison. She is the biggest name in Tennis, he's the biggest name in the NFL. Brady was unfairly persecuted by the NFL despite being proven innocent, Sharapova was unfairly persecuted by the ITF, even though they uninmously agreed she didn't knowingly do anything wrong, then wanted to ban her for 4 years(!) anyways.
October 9th, 2016 at 5:46 PM ^
Pretty much telling you that Sharapova is not the sports biggest star.
You can't be a sport's biggest "star" unless you're actually the best or best at said position.
October 9th, 2016 at 9:06 PM ^
cheater is certainly not hating on your best atheletes. Like most Russians in sports, Sharapova has probably been doping for years. Actually, the ITF is protecting their best atheletes.
That said, I'm not naive enough to believe she is the only one doping.

Did the NFL ever announce that they have a no-kidding, uniform, method of ball checking before and during games?

''We were all intense today, all amped up,'' said Gronkowski..."Tom always brings the ampness to the table.''
Spoken like a true bro.

Remember sports fantasies on the old NBC Wide World of Sports ripoff? Modern day, mine would be shaving Maria's legs. That would take a couple of hours and razors!
