#8 Michigan went up 1-0 five minutes into the game and that was that. The closest MSU ever got was making it a 2-1 game on a transition goal after Stein made it 2-0.
Michigan dominated defensively, and once again, we see elite defense will prevail over potent offense.
Michigan is now 5-1 (1-0 B1G) and will back home for a Sunday game vs CMU.
Michigan has won 21 of the last 26 against MSU, including two in a row.

Field hockey scoring is a lot like soccer scoring. 1-0 or 2-0 are pretty common scores. 3 goals or more is a pretty big result.
