The ONE thing I will miss about Adidas is the gear with the throwback Adidas logo that looks like leaves. If everything they made had that, I would've been a lot more receptive. (And if not all of their jerseys turned to shreds mid-game)

"New Desmond Howard Heisman shoes"
I'll never make fun of my wife's shopping habits again.

What I wouldn't do for a 25% off coupon code right now.
I noticed there is a football hooded sweatshirt with a swoosh.

The website's down......... The stuff of nightmares
August 2nd, the same day the jerseys will be unveiled
If I had money, I'd drop at least $1,000 right now and the jerseys aren't even out yet...
I keep rather late hours so I am still hoping the site comes back up sometime soonish. I need gear before bed.
I havent actually looked at anything though. Not really sure what I want and need a little browsinng time. I won't be asleep for another couple hours so my patience hasnt worn too thin yet haha.
and started reading these 3 newest Nike threads, just to see what's going on.
Before going back to bed, though, I thought I'd go to the MDen website and give it a try, and had absolutely no problem. Even used an MDen gift card and bought myself 1 item (the Maize "Team Issue" Nike Polo, non-Jumpman) for $60. And I'll get it shipped just as quickly as I would have if I had ordered it 2 1/2 hours ago.
Quick, easy shopping right now. Must be WD went home and isn't still up clogging the system.
Go Blue and good night, all!
I fell for the same trick...6 times. Man I need it to be football season already, my hobby has turned to trying to buy Michigan stuff from a broken website.
There is something darkly humorous about a 2 month countdown timer to the website immediately bursting into flames and not working indefinitely.
Also, super obnoxious because you would assume they would have found some premium nerds on campus to ensure this exact thing did not happen.
Tried it a few times and it is out of service. Not surprised.
See, I knew that if I just went to sleep a little earlier than normal last night that I would wake up in a whole new world and indeed I have. Assuming the site ever works again, there might be a purchase or two made today.
The photos that people were tweeting out last night of the line were phenomenal - I don't know that I've seen images of anything like that on a Sunday night in Ann Arbor before.
Seeing error 525 SSL handshake failed, website is offline :( Going back to MDen shows items in the cart though...
I get this isn't a serious problm in the grand scheme of life by any meausre, but I tried to place an order at 1am, 4am, and now at 7am, and mden still doesn't work. I can only conclude that 1. Us Michigan fans are crazy and gotta have our new gear due to the extreme anticipation for the season of promise or 2. Mden needs to not run their website out of their mom's basement.

Definitely getting the season tee. There are a few other things I'm contemplating.
Hyped this event up more than the M Den. Them tweeting out that the demand is unprecedented and that they weren't expecting this makes this even more frustrating. You did this to yourself, what did you think would happen? You had a damn countdown calendar at every M Den and on your website.
And they marketed the ever loving shit out of this event. I can understand the site crashing at midnight, but it's 9 hours later. 9 hours to fix something they had over a year to prepare for. This not being fixed after 9 hours tells me they were more than just a little under prepared. This is a screw up on a massive level and it should be embarrassing for them. There was massive hype around this event already without the MDen adding their 2 cents into all of if with a damn countdown clock. Like I said, I understand the site going down right at 12 and can even understand it being down for part of the night, but after 9 hours, they have completely butchered this event, at least as far as the website goes.

"I boxed up all my Adidas gear and took it over to storage today," said Michael Laskowski of Utica, who uses the Wolverine Devotee name on Twitter and was planning this haul for over a year and brought over $1,000 with him planning to spend it. "I was setting aside money from my paychecks for this changeover and obviously I'll be doing it all in one switchover, as much as a I can."
He was thrilled with the new font and the maize color, which was more highlighter yellow with Adidas and said he plans to return next weekend to buy the jersey and the shoes.
I am expecting MDen to show the dreaded "backend fetch" failure that we see on the blog the next time I try their site.
That expectation is correct. Can see all the products, but the purchasing mechanism is blown up real good.
We broke MDen's website!
It's what we do.
