I am from the thumb and the wolverine did pass away several years ago and was stuffed and is now on display throughout the state. the local officials are trying to get the poor bugger back to display here. i personally would like to see him on display at lansing to scare their women and children.

On a related note, I just got done watching an elementary school basketball tournament in Columbus and there was this one young lad who really looked like he was going places. He's a little under the radar, as he's only 4'2" currently. I can't remember his name, "Tres Burke" or something like that, I just hope Coach Amaker will recruit him when he gets older.

I don't recall ever seeing this article when it came out originally. Did we kill off the original population in the state along with the wolves?
