Michigan gained their second commitment of the weekend in the form of 2017 WR Jeremiah Holloman, a Covington (GA) Newton teammate of 2017 RB commit Kurt Taylor. Holloman, who's currently unranked on the recruiting services, is the fifth Michigan pledge in the 2017 class and the first at receiver.
I'll have a complete update on Holloman tomorrow; the full commitment post for Nate Johnson will be up early this afternoon.

He's not a 4-star. He's a 3-star in a couple spots. But I do think he'll be a 4-star eventually.

Magnus how do you think he compares to a McDoom?
December 13th, 2015 at 11:57 AM ^
He's bigger and more of a "pro style" guy. But McDoom is more polished, and he's probably more ready to play immediately because of that. Holloman can play early because of his size (and block like Darboh did in 2012), but I think McDoom can be a receiving threat next year.

McDoom!

How he compares to Nate Johnson? Different players?
Is Johnson a Slot?
Would he play anywhere else?
Do you think he is a good fit?- that was a quick commitment.

No offense, but I do have a website with my thoughts on these guys. It might answer your questions:

Jeremy Gallon seemed to do pretty well pre-Fisch. So did Junior Hemingway.
The biggest difference is the S&C, IMO.

a guy that is raw and not the most natural pass catcher but has the size, athleticism, and aggressiveness to develop into a good player. However any time a player from far away commits this early in the process, particularly those with a mediocre offer list early on, I don't get too attached as the coaching staff will certainly continue to go after big time players and more schools will come along with scholarship offers.

Welcome young man to the Michigan family and nice to see that you and your family are properly attired - dad has khakis on!
Interesting to see that Harbaugh does wear more than just khakis, Sarah must have told him to dress up for the family visit so he broke out the grey slacks.

I'm pretty sure that's Derron Montgomery, a graduate assistant who works with the wide receivers. I believe Jedd Fisch is on the road recruiting, so Montgomery is probably the guy in Ann Arbor who handled WR-related discussions.
