kalis said, after he decommitted from Ohio State, that there would be blood and that UM would score lots of points . He was 0-4 enough said. I guess he is used to the ass beatings by now. What a mistake to go to UM. He lost out on 4 gold pants and a NC.

We were not supposed to win more than 5-6 games this year, according to most experts. If you want to truly judge this team, give it a couple years, when Jim has his guys in place, and Urban gets Ohio in trouble like his past record indicates. I am as upset as anyone from today's loss, however this year has giving me a lot to look forward to.... Wolverine fan for life, through the good & bad times, that is a true fan.

It's year one and obviously we've done great wrt expectations. However, Harbaugh & Durkin have to answer for why they had no answer for OSU's ground attack. I get the DL and LB were weakened and/or are terrible, but OSU hasn't gashed many teams like that at all this year. Michigan's D should've performed far better today

tOSU has Urban. Harbs didn't win the big ones at Standford and SF either. Didn't you know that.

That's all you really need to say. All downhill from there

How do you come out so flat at home against a rival? How do you not gameplan for their bread and butter? How are the linebackers so soft and incapable of fighting off blocks?
0-2 against main rivals and blown out by 29 in the main one is not a good start Jim.

Won't be able to sleep tonight. Every single one of our coaches performed about as bad as you could. Complete ineptitude from our staff from the top to the bottom.
P.S. Fire Baxter.

The punt block attempt changed the game today is a profoundly negative way.
He did some really good stuff, but also laid some huge eggs in big games.

They showed deficiencies as the year went along. They still were light years better than any special teams we had under RR or Hoke.

Urban came to Michigan twice and is 2-0. harbaugh made no difference except some of his and his son's foolish rants.

Durking & D staff lost this game. Failed to have enough #s in the box; man short against run all day except for a handful of snaps.
I can hear Brian at the press conference, to Durkin: "DO YOU KNOW WHAT A COUNTABLE BOX IS?!?"

Ugh.... don't say such things. It's scary cuz it might be true... At the Horseshoe next year... When was the last time we beat them there? 2000?

I don't understand why we give the coaches a pass when the team plays poorly and gets trucked like this?

We can question him as much as we want. Deal with it.
The team has NEVER come out this flat against OSU under Hoke. What's Harbaugh's excuse?
Maybe he should start acknowledging OSU with the fervor he did as Michigan's QB b/c whatever the fuck he did this week didn't work.

It isn't about giving the coaches a free pass. They should be asked hard questions about why the team was unprepared for their run game, or why they went for the punt block. However, when posters are calling for Baxter to be fired and wishing for Durkin to leave, they are lacking massive amounts of perspective.
Sometimes, players have to make plays too. When your senior LB's miss tackle after tackle, there isn't much a coach can do except pulling them, which they did.
Big picture, we are 9-3, and our coaches have done a hell of job this year.

It's one thing to give the coaches a pass, it's another to recognize that there are some things that even the best planning and preparation can't overcome.
Sure, the coaching staff bears some responsibility for this result, but they can't play the game.

Would love to see the numbers on going for the block, how often you get a block vs a penalty.
