You think NFL players would respect a sniveling guy like Urban? He'd get run out of town just like Saban or Petrino. Some guys just don't command respect naturally and they don't survive in the NFL when the players can tell you to just f*ck off

Meyer never seemed like a great gameday coach to me. I think he got a lot of notoriety and fame simply because he was a little innovative, had one or two superior athletes on offense (Tebow, Harvin) to make his offense go and was lucky to have decent defenses based on the school he happened to be at and therefore easy to recruit.
His offenses were to me super gimicky and simple. He would run the same few plays he had and based on having superior talent there, the plays would work to reel off chunks of yards. I remember the Tebow days and being frustrated that the defenses couldn't stop the stupidest of predictable plays. That Florida team sure made it look easy.
I think this game shows that he is unable to make any adjustments and is an all around lousy game day coach. I'm so glad we never got him. He seems like a perfect fit for Ohio State.

I guess he wouldn't have any reason to stay in Columbus because his vantage point of the field is from the sideline and we all know he didn't go to OSU to play school.
