Great kid raised by a great woman. Very intelligent also with strong grades. Has a strong offer sheet as well. Michigan is aware of him as of this morning.

Looks like a good safety or LB prospect. But in the film he is mostly playing CB or a 5-tech type of position. Is that maybe why he isn't getting as much attention from scouts?

CB offered by MSU.

With their history of finding lower star CB recruits thats a positive.

All things being equal character and work ethic counts a lot in development and thats something people exposed to these kids week in and week out for a few yrs know more than anyone.

I think we need more MichiganMan14s in FL TX GA SC AL LA.

I believed that when Narduzzi was evaluating/coaching them up...I'm not so sure watching them now.

It's not like Hoke/Mattison couldn't identify defensive talent and you can reasonably argue that last year's Michigan defense was pretty damned solid. The offense well, obviously.

With elite level coaching the Hoke recruited secondary looks just fine. I'm sure Harbaugh/Durkin/Mattison can identify elite talent at least as well as Mark Dantonio. See: Sherman, Richard.

Tressel said Dantonio is the best evaluator of talent he has ever had.  Saban has said similar things.  Its not just the HCs making offers and evaluating out there so I think what Dantonio did on D at OSU counts too.

I dont think its wise to make sweeping indictments of a guys ability to evaluate after 5 down weeks for his secondary after years of success.  That team lost 2 NFL 1st round picks back to back plus a very good college safety- there was going to be a drop off.  Lets wait 2 years to see if its all LOL in their DBs and then judge.

Our freshman team has about 9 kids we think will be D1s. I have a freshman named Zydarian Grable that is going to be a monster. We have a '17 corner Zahodri Jackson that is going to be a hell of a player too.

What is he projected at the next level, safety? Maybe CB? He looks best suited as a safety in college in the few highlight minutes I was able to see.

He's pretty versatile. He can play field, boundary or either safety spot. Ideally he would make a pretty unique hybrid db that has the flexibility to drop in coverage and play closer to the LOS. He has a nose for the pigskin and bad intentions when he gets there. Solid ball skills also.

I talk with him a few times a week. He loves Michigan. He's been doing very well at practice and is eagerly anticipating his opportunity. I think the staff has plans to shirt him which isn't a bad thing necessarily. He will be very tough to keep off of the field next season. We will get a chance to see him play in the Spring for sure barring something unforeseen this season. Very excited for him.

I think he will hit 206 or so by Spring, which will all be good weight. I think he will fair very well with the Oline Drevno is putting together.
