and I'm not against players being demostrative nearly as much as some people are.  But I LOVE the fact that Harbaugh has laid down the law and basically said that Michigan, as a team, isn't going to get into a war of trash-talking.  We're going to let our play on the field talk for us.

I have no idea--maybe this was the same under Hoke & RichRod and Lloyd.  But I like the fact that that is the way Harbaugh is rolling.  Go out, do you job, do it well, and then act like you expected to do it well.  All the trash-talk our players needed against BYU was on the scoreboard by half-time.

#1 - Did you not see the ring you posted below?

#2 - Because even if Michigan wins out...they're going to need help to get into the playoff. Not a lot, but they'll need Utah to make it as well or both TCU and Baylor losing or a conference beating itself up and having a 2-loss winner. All are very possible.

#3 - We won 5 games last year, let's not act like 10-2 is awful or we're going to be favored in all of our games moving forward.

...but yea did you not see the ring you posted below? I do  hope we get to a playoff...and win it.

guess not. Take that goose egg and put that one in the history books.  The ultimate way to shut some people up.

I knew Harbaugh wouldnt stand for any retaliation.  MSU will get chippy, interesting to see how the guys react.

for Jim Harbaugh, having been on the sidelines nursing a broken arm the last time we played them at the Holiday Bowl in 1984 at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego, when BYU had to come from behind in the 4th quarter to beat our 6-5 team to "win the national championship" (which, of course, we certainly weren't playing for with our lousy record).  How in hell an undefeated team was playing for the national championship against us having a down year was symptomatic of why a playoff system was needed even way back then.  I was in the stands that day, proud of the way my wolverines dominated that game until the last ten minutes.  BYU's singular moment of glory, eeking out a national championship win against an unranked team!
