Continuing to build the MGoTailgate

Submitted by bmr4242 on

Last week the weather pretty much sucked but we meet a few new people and managed to have a good time. The weather looks great this week and we will be back out at Pioneer (gate 3 entrance). I know a couple folks that couldn't make it last week that are planning to join this week and anyone else is welcome! BYOB&F, but feel free to throw whatever on the grill! Music and cornhole should be going this week with the better weather so hope to see more of you and continue to build a great atmosphere. Feel free to respond on here or email me [email protected] and we can coordinate, get specific directions etc.

I'm putting on a tailgate for 24 this week and will be busy cooking but will try to stop by just to say hello........no name tag, no avatar.......just an old grey haired guy.

Oh man for sure - will email to get directions but there is no tailgate like an mgoblog tailgate. I went to the Brian cook memorial tailgate for the 2012 MSU game where I met Seth for the first time and we thought for ever so brief a moment that OSU would lose to Purdue. Mgobloggers came by and we all had dogs. It felt like home. I have to say I remember this as a student and it's even more acute to me as alumni. I feel like I'm always part of a family and every time we get together it's a reunion. Thanks for hosting this and excited to see everyone there. Mgoblog...making friends and influencing people like the Dale Carnegie of college football.

Need more information on what kind of tailgate this is. Drinking games? Angry discussions about Hoke? Chance of a pick-up two-hand touch football game? Awkward niceties with strangers? Apparel comparisons? Lots of "Haurbaugh? Harbaugh."? Age range of participants? Level of drunk and disorderly?

All fun, games can always get going- I have a table and will bring some ping pong balls,it's still early in the season so after some drinks who knows what gets said about hoke, it's on pavement so if someone brings a football we could get a game going - it is on concrete so catch may be best, I'll bring cornhole, Harbaugh is a guarantee, there are some kids around, nothing out of control but what's a tailgate without beverages in hamd

Hoping to stop by. My daughter and I drive from NJ tomorrow, watch the undefeated women's volleyball team open the big ten season on Friday, catch BYU on Saturday, and another volleyball match Saturday night. Go Blue!
