2008 Michigan vs Wisconsin
With college football upon us here is one of the most miraculous comebacks and the 500th game at Michigan Stadium. A few weeks ago someone posted that they wanted the full game.Well here you go. It is the BTN version so its been cut down but all the best parts are there. Enjoy

We got lucky the D was respectable that year and held Wisconsin to like 5 FG tries in the 1st half. With the defenses of 2009 or 2010, it probably would've been 42-0 at half

I mean the first ever night game was also a terrible game of football but that doesn't mean it wasn't my favorite experience in the big house as a student.

Completely agree that the 2008 game should not be considered a classic. It was just horrible football by both teams. And yes, I love watching that 2003 game. My favorite part was the reverse pass to Navarre for a touchdown. Jogging behind our giant offensive line was so great.

That's a lot of qualifiers right there.

He was, and he managed 8 carries for 89 yards along the way, which considering how things went overall in 2008, seemed like a phenomenal performance from anyone at the quarterback position that year (in the air, he was 12-31 for all of 96 yards and threw 2 INTs, so yeah). The only other game in 2008 where Threet would get more than 30 yards of rushing was the Penn State game, as I recall.

I was briefly watching that game on BTN a few weeks ago. It was tough to watch, even though we (somehow) won. That 2008 team was just so bad, but I understand why.

We haven't played them since 2010, and won't until 2016.

Holy cow it's hard watching this game....the ball just sailing over wide open guys heads, throws in double coverage, throws behind the receivers and just not seeing guys wide open out there.
I wonder how much of a difference Mallett would have made?
Threet ran hard and give it his all, though.

@goblue16 - not sure what you mean by "adjusted the system"? Adjust for what? In this game alone Threet had 31 pass attempts - no need to adjust anything.
By all accounts Mallett was a much better QB than Threet so I would imagine RRod wouldn't have hemmed Mallett in as a passer. It would have been a pass heavy spread just like in this game because we couldn't run all that well. Unfortunately, with Threet and Sheridan, we couldn't pass all that well either but I'd bet it would have been very different for Mallett.

I actually thought this would be turning point of the RR era.
