Over/Under @ Kansas
What's the blog's opinion on us keeping the final score within 20 points?
We are undersized and shooting poorly. Not exactly encouraging going into one of the toughest places to play in all of college basketball. Darius Morris will be a fine point guard eventually, but he's not ready for that environment. Stu and LLP at the point for the entire game please, threes dropping in bunches, Manny doing his magic and DeShawn Sims playing out of his mind are all requirements.

A sprinkle of Gibson wowing us would be nice as well.

Call me an optimist (or a retard), but I say not only do we keep it within 20, I say we beat Kansas on a last second three by Zack Novak.

but I do not see us winning this game in any way. It would take a lights out performance by everyone given the way play has been this year. Can we go back to preseason where we had tons of hype and hope?
Now if you want to talk over/under for when I will not be able to bare anymore, im guessing 3minutes left in the first half. just my .02

Unfortunately IMO it's going to be a blow out.

I like your confidence but I just don't see us beating them by that much.

about this game, compounding it is the fact that its at Allen fieldhouse where Kansas never loses really. But seriously who is going to match up on Xavier Henry, Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich. Simms is going to have trouble with Aldrich and I dont think anyone on the team is quick enough to gaurd Henry or Collins, but most teams arent I guess. But our defense has been terible and to beat Kansas you are going to have to rotate over and help out on the drive becuase they are so quick which will leave somebody open most likely on one of the wings. Not only do we have to play great D we have to shoot the ball well and to do that we are going to have to at least show we can take the ball to the basket so they dont just sit outside on our shooters. But aldrich is a beast inside I think he averages 3 or 4 blocks a game so its going to be tough to do much inside especially after the terrible performance inside against the unathletic Utah bigs....On paper its not good but if Michigan shoots great and plays good D anything can happen.
Ohh and ill take the under...

what is there to be worried about? Michigan is a big road underdog in this game. If they win it's amazing, if they lose, who cares. This is great experience come March and for future years.

we havent had a decent out of conference win and this lose just compounds the bad start to the season. And even though its on the road at a place no road teams wins at anyway if we get blown out of the wtaer it shows that we cant even hang around with the tom teams. And really i was more talking about the the match ups going into the game not the overall impact the game might have on MIchigans tourney chances. Any person looking at this game that knows basketball and is a michigan fan would be worried. Its going to be a tough test on the road against a great team and the way Michigan has played this season it could be ugly which provides even more reason to be worried about this game.
