Softball for the Regional win 3:30 EST
Michigan Softball plays today at 3:30 EST on ----- vs. Pittsburgh.
ESPN downgraded coverage to ESPN3 online only! (espn sucks)
Win and they win the Regional and advance to the Super Regional (sweet 16)

IDK -- Bottom of the 6th now... Blue 10-3

But I never remember things that make no sense to me.

9-1, 9-1, 10-3 is not too shabby
They bat regardless of how many runs would be scored in the top of the 7th.
Regarding the question above, each of the hosting teams has to be "away" once during the regional. I think same goes for the super regional as well but am not sure.
They would have had a chance to get it under eight runs. It's only enforced after a full inning.
10-3 final score. On to the Super Regionals (sweet 16) vs. Georgia
That was pretty easy.
VICTORY!
Can't wait for the games next weekend.
Yep, higher seeds host in the super regionals. Best 2 of 3, not sure if the first game is scheduled yet. Either Thursday or Friday.

They don't re-seed, so they're 14th.
#1 Florida vs. Kentucky
#2 Oregon vs. NC. State
#3 Michigan vs. #14 Georgia
#4 Auburn vs. #13 Louisiana/Baylor (Baylor must win 2x)
#5 LSU vs. #12 Arizona/Minnesota (Minny must win 2x)
#6 Alabama vs. #11 Oklahoma
#7 UCLA vs. #10 Missouri
#8 Tennessee vs. #9 Florida State
EDIT: LSU walks off in extras over ASU to advance. Tennessee advances past Utah.
UPDATE: Minnesota forces the if-necessary game vs. Arizona on a walk-off grand slam. Baylor defeats Louisiana 6-2 to force the if-necessary in the Lafayette regional. Both elimination games coming shortly.
Michigan has now won 17 NCAA Regional Championships.
Michigan is now 64-15 all-time in NCAA Regional games.
Going into the last half-inning down 2-1 to Arizona, Minnesota's Paige Palkovich hits a walk off grand slam!
Go Gophers!
Final game of that regional will be played later tonight.
Minnesota's snub by not being a seed is a blessing in disguise if they can pull through tonight. LSU is waiting in the supers, and they are limping into the post season, as well as the only top 8 to drop a regional game. If they got their 15 or 16 seed as many expected they would be much closer to a 'thanks for showing up' versus Florida or Oregon.
Ann Arbor Super Regional will be a Thursday/Friday series.
ESPN accidentally showed the game times for some Super Regionals on their broadcast of the Louisiana-Baylor game and it has Michigan's Game 1 against Georgia as a 9pm game on Thursday on ESPN2.
but we will take it any time any day. Supers are super, so Go Blue!
