early spring game forecast
Looks like the messiah's first game in Ann Arbor will be a little nippy at 47 but there is no rain in the forecast. Pack your sweatshirt and you'll be fine. http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Ann+Arbor+MI+USMI0028:1:US

Things might change in the next few days????

The Harbaughing needs advanced planning. I need to plan how many pairs of khakis I'll need to get at the store. 20 degrees = 3 pairs 35 degrees = 2 pairs 50 degrees = 1 pair 70 degrees = khaki shorts
80 degrees= boxers or briefs???

We would have to beat 95,000 which OSU got in 2009 which I'm kinda doubting since it was 80 degrees for theirs that year.

Also they probably market theirs better. Without any real evidence that we're holding a spring game to the general public, we probably won't draw close to 90k. My money is on 52,972 being our attendance.
I would think they get more than that since they got that many for Rich Rod in 2009. That's the last one I went to.
I sent an email to Jordan Maleh, who is the director of digital marketing, about posting the date and time on the Michigan football facebook and twitter pages because I noticed nothing about them has been posted yet (which I can't figure out why).
Won't come anywhere near the largest in history. Until UM starts pushing the spring game back in April for better weather and/or start really making the fans feel like the program wants them there, it will remain low. This will probably be better than Hoke's spring turn-outs though.
That will never happen.

Really a shame the storm wasn't named Johnson.
This one is still my favorite. My local station too!

I think it's definitely worth it. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to make the trip from MD or not.
By midweek next week, they are actually talking about temperatures in the mid-50s here in SE Michigan, so hopefully the trend holds into the weekend. Actually, perhaps it gets even warmer than that, although when it gets too warm in early April, usually we get sheets of rain and the odd tornado later. Oh to be in Michigan now that spring is here indeed.
Can't wait to tailgate and pass around the blackberry brandy for every michigan score! Shoud be a fun weekend! This will be my first spring game since I was 12 and got Jermane Tuman's autograph, cant wait!
The Polish mothers' version of Nyquil.
Looking forward to the game.
As someone who is 50% Polish, I thought that taste brought back memories from my childhood!
that Bill Belichick said about weather forecasts/meteorlogists?
Has anyone heard anything about a player/coaches meet and greet?
If I recall correctly they typically do one sometime around the spring game every year.
Lower case proper noun?
Pejorative intent?
47 and sunny is MSU-game-in-late-October weather.

Are there any tailgating spots open for the spring game? I assume the golf course won't be open.
March 26th, 2015 at 10:24 AM ^
I know that AAGO is not yet open for golf due to the saturated ground, so I am sure that it will not be open for parking.
The UM course is probably in the same situation.
But there is always Pioneer High School, which could capture the entire parking crowd.

Sounds good. I thank you.

Does anyone know if the normal football park and ride locations in Ann Arbor will be open? I'm about three hours away (behind enemy lines) and for years we have parked at the designated areas and taken the bus on game day instead of fighting to get closer to the stadium. But we have not attended a spring game in many, many years. I'm taking my 13 year old and 10 year old boys, so I don't want to explain to them that we are missing the start of the Golden Age of Harbaugh because Dad parked at a deserted and unused parking area.
After no deluge of replies were forthcoming, like none, I called the Park and Ride people in AA. As I feared, they do not have the vision to see what a great event the spring game will be, and they told me there will be no service for that game. Maybe if we get 50,000 to the game this year, next spring will be different. I guess Harbaugh can't take charge of everything personally.
