If Copp hadn't hit him so squarely from behind, Rau's head doesn't snap back like that and I doubt a major gets called. I'm on board with thinking Copp wasn't being especially vicious but I also don't think he's got much room to complain about the major/game misconduct call. Nothing good was going to come from shoving Rau in that situation and Copp should know that.

On a side note, the B1G is basically the SEC of college wrestling huh? 11 teams ranked in the top 23??? Thats pretty damn impressive.

The key difference is that we are legitimately better than other conferences at wrestling. Whereas the SEC is highly ranked in football partly due to media hype and bias.
