Happy to have 11 wins. But I don't think this team is as good as their record. The offensive line scares me (sound familiar?) the running game is bad. But they continue to do stupid things. The muffed punt....trying to even attempt a punt block on 4th and 23. The only difference is the stupid plays haven't cost us games this year.

I'd love a win at Green Bay but nothing has gone right in that stadium in 23 years. I think that will be a loss by about 20 point. I could picture them winning one game in the playoffs but nothing more than that.

Yeah, if we had a better offensive line this Lions team would be so good. All their lackluster on offense pretty much originates from their offensive line. They’re average pass protectors and very weak run blockers. Stafford would be top level if he had the time some other QBs get to sit in the pocket, like Aaron Rodgers and Brady get. We need a bigger and stronger center to anchor things in the middle of our offensive line. I get the feeling Raiola just isn’t as powerful as many other centers.

You might be right. Though I would sure like to see what Stafford could do behind an offensive line like Green Bay’s or New England‘s. I think OL guys get motivated to play harder for great QBs. Good pocket time can help a QB relax and cut down his poor decisions and fundamental mistakes. Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady usually get the time to perform well. Less stress, can lead to less mistakes.

they have little chance of beating anyone they play, including the pathetic South Champs. If you are a fan who is just content to get there, fine. Unless the Lions win a playoff game, I consider this to be the same old Lions again.

Haven't read all the other posts to see if it's been mentioned, but Fitz got a good amount of playing time in the 4th against the Texans. He made a few nice plays, didn't look too bad.

and saw the Gametracker had a picture of Fitz, as he'd made the last play of the game.

Last Play - 00:34 Q4
F.Toussaint
(:34) (Shotgun) F.Toussaint up the middle to BAL 40 for 5 yards (K.Jackson).

Actually made the last two plays: The penultimate a 15-yard reception (most of it looks like yards after the catch).  His long rush was 12 yards, but the total of 11 yards rushing on 4 carries implies he got pushed back for a couple.

Nevertheless, pretty nice to see for his first actual playing time.

The colts had a wide open gunner on 4th and 11 deep in their own territory. The punter audibled to a throw when he took the snap and hit the guy right in the hands and he dropped it. Cowboys score on the next play.
