Did he announce that hes switching to DE also? Cause that would be great.

DB- even better.

Anyone know why?
Cincinatti/Kelly are like Hansel (so hot right now) at the moment. I know Smith's commitment has been soft, but, it just seems odd. 'Natti seems like a place kids would flock to.

Maybe they don't think Kelly will be there for long. I know that if I was a recruit, I would have serious doubts about going there based on that alone. But this is just a guess.

Brian Kelly could be the second coming and he can't make that a "real" football power with, you know, fans and stuff.

+1 for the Zoolander reference

He obviously prefers his starting job in San Fran.

I'm scared about the possible position switches for Ricardo Miller and Jeremy Jackson. I think Miller will stay as a receiver but I have no idea where Jackson projects to. I don't think he's a prototype reciver for RRod's offense, but no idea where he'd go. I could just be speaking out of my ass right now.
Nevertheless, he'd be a true tight end and after seeing what we've done with Koger, I'm hoping he'll notice that we utilize the tight end very well.

why in the world did someone neg this!? jackson runs a 4.7 40. he's almost certainly going to end up at TE.
November 17th, 2009 at 1:48 AM ^
...except for the fact that he said he'd rather go elsewhere than switch to TE.

Jeremy told me he is coming to Michigan as a DB... he didn't say a specific position but I'm assuming safety since he does not have the speed for corner.

Is this true, sarcasm, speculation? Who are you?
November 17th, 2009 at 12:46 AM ^
And who is Jeremy?
November 17th, 2009 at 12:25 AM ^
If that's true, that's another player that is projecting as a DB that Brian has listed on the offensive side of the ball on the recruiting board. Not saying anything about the board, but rather that the number of DB recruits is actually a good bit higher than it would appear from the board at this point.

this has to be bs. i've seen him play a game at free safety. he tackles like a girl.

Have you heard of a guy named Fred Roh? I'm guessing you ignored all the posts where his name was brought up.

Cincinnati???
I'm just saying.

watching the UCLA game on ESPN and game track on the bottom said he will be making his commitment on Tuesday. As much as it would be great to have him we need defense, defense, and more defense right now

If I'm a tight end, I'm looking hard at Wisconsin. They've produced some good ones in recent years, and in that offense, you know you'll get a lot of passes thrown your way...
