I feel similarly. They are easy to root for because they've been so bad for so long. I usually hate seeing dominant SEC teams, but I just can't hate them.

Plus it's nice to imagine all of the traditional SEC powers quiver at the thought of playing them.

As I type this Miss St just went up 21-0.

Is just depressing me. I still can't believe we got so bad so fast and for so long...and I don't even mean the record, we don't execute like other schools.

we don't execute like other schools.

So you admit Hoke is right, as everybody bitches when he says that?!

Just razzing...I know what you mean.  Watching football elsewhere these days (not the Big Ten) is more satisfying and intriguing, especially the players themselves.

I mean Hoke is right, they don't execute, but once in a while is one thing, 80% of the time another. At some point, there are only two possibilities...bad coaching or bad judgement of talent. ...and the odds of it being the latter seem pretty slim, when Minnesota, Utah, Purdue, etc don't seem to have that problem.

Watching competent football makes me sad now. It's amazing. I used to LOVE watching any cillege football game, but the astounding depth Hoke has brought this program to has destroyed my love for watching the sport at all. For the sake of everyone, the school needs to fire Hoke. Let him coach the remainder of the season, fine. But let us know that this nightmare WILL end.

21-0 Bulldogs.  Holy hell.  Auburn sure as hell isn't out of this, they need to settle down, but wow!  Putting on a show for the home crowd.

Mississippi State has some very, very big dudes playing.  Auburn and of course most teams have beastly players these days but Miss. St. is littered with 'em.  A very manly, physical team, on offense especially.

Umm, if Miss State keeps piledriving their way thru the schedule, they'll likely end up in the Playoff.  And Dan Mullen ain't leaving a Top 2 or 3 team to come coach here.  You may want to cheer for a loss or two for them down the road.

Holy shit they just fake punted that and completely failed.  Not a good maneuver.

And now first and goal Auburn.  What a change of events there.  Though if that fake punt worked...
