I haven't been able to watch all of the games this year because I live down South, but from what I have seen, Woodson is hardly the problem with the Packers' D.
And FWIW, they might be able to keep up with other teams if Rodgers wasn't getting sacked 6+ times every time they play a decent opponent.

I wish I could give you a +100 for this statement. Packers aren't much better right now and this Sunday's game was EXTREMELY frustrating. They made Minnesota look better with stupid penalties and bad play calling. Rodgers needs to learn how to freaking run.

I'm not excited by how they're playing now either.
I will always support the team though.

a guy who loves M football is surrounded at work by fans of other schools who are giving him grief about his team's showing; he's not excited by how they're playing right now?
This is news? Sounds exactly like my workplace experience.

I don't think he said anything out of the ordinary. The last two games have been tough to take.

I am. We're winning Saturday and beating OSU. Minor's swan song will be Nov. 21 in Ann Arbor.

...and I agree that he didn't say anything inflammatory or anti-UM/RR. Then, of course, there is that trifling little fact that they won the NC when he played. If you won a national championship when you played, you do sorta deserve bragging rights over the current team until they win one. I think he said what we all feel in one way or another: it's tough to watch the team you love lose.
As for Cincinnati, let's see how they do against an elite team outside the Big Least before they get too carried away with their own "greatness." Southeast Missouri State, Oregon State, Fresno State, and the upcoming game with Illinois do not count as "elite teams."
If Cincy can get a signature victory like the team that RR built did over Oklahoma, or even RR's bowl victories over UGA and GaTech, then I will buy into them as an elite program. Until then, though, they are just this year's representative of the weakest conference in the BCS. And they do still have WVU at home and Pitt on the road to get through.
So, I can't really blame him for not wanting to hear Cincy alums talk shit to him.

Sounds like a smart Michigan man to me.

I think he should come give the team a pep talk before this weekend's game
