We're going to try a combined thread here and see what happens. This is the thread for special teams and coaching snowflakes.

Tommy Doman kicking through the endzone both directions in that wind! Continues to punt extremely well too. Guy’s 1st team all BigPunting conference at this point.

1 for 1 on FG & perfect on XPs, also 👍

Thaw made a good play to field one but that run back would’ve gone further with Morris, I suspect. On other hand, I think we saw on very next punt return why Morris hasn't already sealed the deal and it’s still a competition…good recovery but 😬 cannot do that.

all facets of game damn near perfect today — except loose pass D, and stretches of meager pass rush, but that was by design: Seth and Alex and Brian all warned us all week to expect that. Only way Nebraska hangs in is if gets QB run game going strong, so watch those 20+ yd completions again: LBs are all spying QB run. DBs probably too, tho often off screen

After watching several other games today, I am so impressed with Michigan’s discipline. I believe the TV broadcast mentioned we are the 2nd least penalized team.

USC-CO and Ole Miss-LSU just looked sloppy and horrific on defense. Michigan looked sharp all around and played incredible defense. Great coaching. Minter is gaining comfort and continues making adjustments in game. Moore has begun tapping into the talent available through solid play calling.

Not much urgency, as per usual, at the end of the first half, is my main small gripe. It didn't matter because we had the TD strike, but if we needed to go down the field more incrementally we probably would've run out of time. Other than that, the one time they ran up the middle on 3rd & 10 felt dumb too, but overall incredible game.

Michigan is the No. 1 team in the country.  I'm not seeing it in Georgia, Ohio State, USC or Penn State.  It looks more like M, maybe Texas and whatever emerges from the Pacific Northwest.

In fact, you could squint and see two Pac 12 North teams in the playoff.  Long way to go, but it will be a lot more wide open this year, so it should be fun to watch.

A tier above Rutgers?   I would suggest that Nebraska and Rutgers are sitting on a bus together, holding hands and sharing a lunch on their way to shitsville.   They are relatively the same team this year.  Along with about 5 other B1G teams.

Really only had an issue with a couple plays which were so obviously run plays. If I can see it in the crowd, and I’m not particularly good with the intricacies of football, then I know the defense can see it.

Overall it was a pretty thorough defenestration and it’s hard to have an issue.
