EA Sports tells NCAA it was using real players back in 2007
NCAA says it was ok to use real names as long as the jersey numbers were imaginary. I'm starting to think the NCAA are some shady folks....

You're just starting to think so?
Every draft washout imaginable will be in a class action lawsuit in 3....2....
NCAA be like
And then MGoBlog be like
I still don't have the Denard version of NCAA and will eventually, but it's still fairly overpriced for me considering the amount of time I play that game anymore. I used to play NCAA all the time, but got bored with it a couple of years ago. If Denard were not on the cover, I'd likely skip this game. When I see it for $20 or less, then I will get it.
It's happened before to games, they might sky rocket in value.
I've been editing rosters since Tecmo Super Bowl 3, I found my old copy from when I was a kid, I had the michigan roster in 1995 still saved to the rams on it, it was quite funny to see it was still saved. Scott Dreisbach was spelt wrong, go figure.
I still play Choops 2k8 to this day. There is still a strong community that works on making rosters for each season.
I still have the game but I stopped playing it because my rosters were so outdated and I didn't feel like updating them myself. Can you really still roster share? I thought they took the servers down making it impossible.
That's a active project almost done. You'll need a USB to edit a saved roster you create(replace your save with there file)2k share is done. It's a little tough the first time you do one if you've never done it.
I might have to look into doing that. I was straight up addicted to college hoops back when it came out. I still play it from time to time, but it just sucked not having current rosters.
There's a team of modders who have done this on the basketball side for NBA 2K14 on PC and it's amazing. Still only 30 teams playing, but that's enough to hit all the big folks (and Albany, apparently) in basketball. I'm loving it.
I love it when evil is compelled to screw over other evil.
So it's okay to use player names and likenesses as long as the jersey numbers are imaginary? So, like, Denard Robinson wearing 16i?
Denard's "supposed" character totally didn't have dreads though, so "QB16" with 23435465 speed couldn't have possibly been him - NCAA
It was pretty damning when all of a sudden random "create your own recruit" names included not just "Johnson" and "Peterson" but also "Tebow", "Leinart," "Cushing", etc.
