Did Erick All announce he was coming back to UM?

I saw this briefly mentioned in another thread but I don’t know how to interpret it. Could just mean he will be back better than ever in the NFL. But it could mean he is planning on being back here. What is your take on this? Having Loveland and All next year would be a pair of lethal targets for JJ.

With his modest combination of measurables, athleticism, and stats, I don't think teams will be jumping at the chance to draft a TE who just had serious (judging by him calling it life-changing) back surgery. A healthy year back at Michigan could greatly improve his stock I'd think. Is he even projected to be drafted?

Before the year I saw a couple of places consider him a 6th/6th round draft selection, which is probably his ceiling given his somewhat limited athleticism.  I assume he's coming back especially coming off an injury but if the main issues are athleticism then it's unlikely he'd get demonstrably better at that with another year in college, doubly so because he's already 22 and would be 23 basically at the start of next season.

All is a fantastic blocker and is great at corralling difficult balls. If he’s back and healthy, this will be a Hockenson/Fant situation.

By the way, also part of the “TE U” chain is Kevin Koger, who was a B1G Honorable Mention and is now the TE coach for the Chargers.

Not really surprising because he had a back injury with surgery to repair it. He wasn't going to get drafted or at least go into late day 3. He'll need to prove that he's 100% and can play at a high level to regain his NFL stock.

It would be good for him to return and show he's healthy. JH would love him to come back.

This isn't the same as Jaxson S/N at Ohio, who was looking to be a top 5 pick after last year's RB. JSN is going pro, unless he shocks people.
