Friday Final Four Predictions + How Wrecked is your Bracket?
Happy Weekend Mates,
Final Four weekend is upon us. The ladies are playing tonight but the men play tomorrow, tip off at 6:09 for the first game. Interestingly, for the men only a single #1 seed made it, along with two 2's and an 8. For the ladies it was three 1-seeds and a 2, much more 'chalky'.
Anyway, first game tomorrow is Kansas as a 4 pt favorite over Villanova. It was at 4.5 earlier today.
Second game is Duke also as a 4 pt favorite over UNC. Given their rivalry and Coach K's imminent retirement, that could be a barn-burner of a game.
Both games are on TBS.
Tonight's questions:
1. First, how badly mangled is your NCAA bracket, how many of the final 4 did you get. In our house, only one of us picked Kansas, no other entrants have a single of the final 4.
2. What's your prediction about who wins tomorrow? Any Coach K sympathy or is it more a meteor game given UNC's cheatin' record?
3. For those who wish, what is in your cup and on your BBQ/plate this evening?

Rooting for UNC only because I would love the Coach K tenure to end with UNC having more national titles from 1980 to now (Coach K's time at Duke) than Duke themselves. I don't like UNC either but that would be a hell of a feather in the proverbial cap for them.
Can’t remember seeing one player with 4 fouls in a first half in a long time. Don’t always agree with the 2 foul autobench, but leaving him in with 3 seems dumb
Since this is the de facto final four semifinal thread I am happy Duke is beating North Carolina and I want them to beat North Carolina. And then I have misgivings about Kansas for the all the NCAA violations. So story book ending for Coach K would be my choice. Despite many times cussing him out over the years that's what makes this so cool.

Fuck Duke and the refs trying to help them throughout this tournament. Not that refs helping Duke is anything new during his entire tenure. Shows how garbage college basketball officiating is when Bo Boroski is deemed a final four worthy ref.
Well looks like if Kansas wins I'll get 5th in my bracket, which is $550. Bought in for 2 @ $50 each so not bad ending.
Update - looks like I'm locked in for 15th @ $50, so at least I'm covered for half of my 2
KU was my only final 4 team to make it. I did not have them going to the championship game, so I'm out of my work pool.
My bracket is #7 in the communities ESPN bracket group. I picked UNC to win so I am assuming if they do happen to win tonight I’ll end up taking 1’st in the community. What do y’all think?
