This is good to see

Good to hear. Still feel sorry for the kid though. He seemed to really want to go the University and play football. Turning 18 can be very cruel. It is the first time you really start to meet rejection and having the realization that maybe things aren’t going go how you expected.
Good luck to him.

But we'll always have that 100+ post thread where dozens of people preemptively trashed our coaching staff to hold in our hearts.

I'll cop to being someone who said that if the staff screwed him over with a numbers crunch situation they deserved to be taken to task for it, and I'm happy to be wrong but Michigan has had a couple of high-profile "processings" AND have had issues with Belleville in the past, so it wasn't like the concern was unfounded.

I fall into this camp as well.

So it looks like he wasn’t suddenly and brusquely “processed” after all.

"The new staff has been amazing".
That right there leads me to believe how the old staff handled recruiting kids from Belleville rubbed Crowell the wrong way.

Bellamy was a respected rival & peer - I'd bet who that's he's referring to.
RB is getting a lot of love as a crooter post- ESD!

Suck it all you haters who ASSume you know the inside scoop when you are so far on the outside that no one involved knows you exist or even would care if they did know you existed. You're like the guy standing next to Forrest Gump, invisible because someone important is also in the shot. You try to gain significance by incorrectly speculating on things of which you have no knowledge. Just shut up.
What a bunch of clowns.

Now, more music.

Just glad to hear that Both UM and Belleville are on the same page and moving forward. Best of luck to Alexander and hope he has a phenomenal football career (not against us of course).

I’m glad this is resolved, we don’t need this acrimony.

It’s just football, yet I had a huge sigh of relief reading this.

Glad to see this work out. Do wish Alexander success. I assumed the worst based on context clues so glad it didn't turn out to be caused by them.

There were a bunch of feelings all from many posters about Michigan being on the wrong even though nothing was confirmed. I hope it goes to show "don't jump to conclusions". Nice of both sides to clear this up. More importantly, I wish the kid the very best and have a lot of success on the field.

Glad he did this.
I assume that he will also assure that no Belleville kid ever decommits from a school after accepting an offer?

that's good news

So, let me get this straight…coach JC tweets a cryptic message about a coach doing his player wrong. Some UM fans message him or whatever it is on twitter (I don’t use it) speculating he’s talking about Harbaugh. He then publicly announces that it wasn’t Harbaugh and co. and goes on to praise them. Am I missing something? Why are some idiots on here still talking shit about him? This is some msu/Ohio type shit

Commit to best opportunity to play early. Portal with/when improvement in circumstances. Makes sense.
I would not want to parent a D1 ready player without a good high school coach or advisor.
