College Football Playoff Prediction Thread
Though in the back of our minds we're all thinking Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Ohio State will be left standing at the end, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict only one of those 4 (the Buckeyes, unfortunately) will make it. Joining them will be Iowa State, UNC, and Georgia.

Doesn’t Clemson basically get their WR core back this season? I know they had I just issues last season.

The QB play is always a toss up with a new guy. I don't get the same feeling about Clemson as I do about osu being able to just plug and play yet.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Iowa State or Okie State will be in it. They have a chip on their shoulder.

Im not sold on Clemson. They have a young QB and the depth behind him is non existent. They one hit away from the season derailing. Young QBs can play well but one thing they also do is hold on to the ball to long. It wouldn’t shock me to see DJ take some major hits versus Georgia.
I think we could see some chaos this year. Ohio State, Georgia, Iowa State and Cincy.

Clemson became Clemson on the back of a 20-4 stretch in one score games. That is what separated them from the rest of college football. When we did the opposite in one score games (Iowa, Osu, Fsu) we went one direction and they went the other. To think this is the year that luck runs out for them is swimming up stream for sure. OSu and Clemson are now recruiting at Bama levels so expect Bama results going forward. The playoff is a one spot fight for 115 schools (3 actuallly) but who knows maybe Iowa state wins 13 in a row. Probably not but sure.

If Matt Campbell managed to get ISU into the playoff it would be the best coaching achievement of the century so far. It would be like getting ASU into the Frozen Four.

Who is Oregon’s QB? Do we really see them as a playoff team, or are people just hoping they go into Columbus and win?
Dont get me wrong, I hope the Ducks beat OSU too, but it’s a long shot at best. Oregon was not a good team last year, and they have to replace a lot.

I think Uof〽️ is going to better than allot people think I have them at 10-2 or 9-3. Unfortunately we still lose to BLOsu.
