Pics or it didn't happen. On 2nd thought pics of a mayonnaise trophy might be NSFW

Hot take: getting blown out by THIS Wisconsin team was just as embarrassing as losing to MSU this year
December 30th, 2020 at 4:46 PM ^
An even hotter take.
Had we actually played OSU this year they actually might've scored 100 points. They wanted to do it and we would've been absolutely powerless to stop it.
December 30th, 2020 at 4:57 PM ^
Meh, they'll just do it next year. The defense isn't getting any better.
December 30th, 2020 at 5:58 PM ^
Damn, the negativity here... I personally think that the OSU era is coming to an end. A lot of there players will declare for the nfl after the season is done.
Damn. OSU has mentally wooped a lot of you.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:02 PM ^
I think that’s because OSU has physically whooped UM for the past 15 years.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:22 PM ^
Try 20 years. 2001 is when the futility began.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:19 PM ^
OSU has mentally whooped our entire program including the head coach into a stuporous state. The spineless AD Michigan has feels like his best option is to hand this dumpster fire a contract extension and let the garbage continue to burn on into the night. If Michigan still claims to be the “Leaders and Best” it sure as hell isn’t on the football field. And some people wonder why the entire country points and laughs at Michigan.
December 30th, 2020 at 7:21 PM ^
Exactly, we sing that we are Leaders and Best, but 6 years of Harbaugh has brought us this, which is NOT L&B:
- 0-5 vs OSU, covid saved us from 0-6
- 3-3 vs MSU
- 0 B1G titles, not even playing in the B1G title game let alone CFP
- best road win is against #20 Northwestern
- 1-4 in bowl games
- 0-15 when Michigan is an underdog
- 2-12 vs. top 10 teams
- worst halftime deficit in Michigan stadium history & 2nd worst loss ever at home
- home loss to an 0-5 team
- 4 straight home losses
- talented players transferring / leaving the program early
- questionable roster management and seemingly disorganized recruiting
- could not keep the players from missing the last 3 games
- 4th highest paid coach in the country

Why is this year any different from any other year for OSU such that their era "is coming to an end"? They always lose a lot of guys to the NFL and always have lots of five stars and high four stars waiting in the wings. You seem to be a glass half-full kind of person but your optimism on this front borders on delusion.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:31 PM ^
That's been happening for the last 10-15 years.
You're delusional!
December 30th, 2020 at 6:42 PM ^
You're also delusional.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:51 PM ^
Wow, telling what you are smoking???
December 30th, 2020 at 6:53 PM ^
Glad to see that you haven't been watching The Game for the last 16 years, especially the last 2.

It doesn’t take much Catch for negative people, to be themselves. It’s so natural that if you check two negative minded posters. Put their posts in parentheses they are so negative if you multiply them together you still wouldn’t create a positive post.
December 30th, 2020 at 9:20 PM ^
Damn, your right, several Buckeyes will declare for the draft, allowing a couple dozen 4/5* backups to bring the OSU era to an end.
Revisit this bullshit in a year, or check out 2021/2022 OSU recruiting classes, its dismal, the end of an era.

1. I had no clue Wisconsin played in a bowl game.
2. I had no clue there was a mayo bowl.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:23 PM ^
Ditto and I had to check to determine that Duke's was a real thing and it is actually available locally.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:36 PM ^
I don't like mayonnaise but this Ken's Tarter Sauce I got from the Coney Island is fantastic. It's only available commercially. It's like Gold Medal pancake mix that you can't buy in a store. If you ever had a waffle at a hotel and wondered why they all seem to taste the same, that's why.

In keeping with Darker Blue's thread from earlier, I read this as Wisconsin breaking their Dick Mayo Trophy initially, and immediately, I thought perhaps they should get a urologist to have a look at it.
December 30th, 2020 at 4:55 PM ^
Thank goodness we don’t play for the Jug with those careless clowns.
December 30th, 2020 at 5:04 PM ^
The bits of shattered glass bowl trophy ranks right up there with the Minnesota-Nebraska bits of broken chair trophy.

Wiskkakee!!!
December 30th, 2020 at 6:13 PM ^
Looking forward to Michigan breaking a bowl trophy.
December 30th, 2020 at 6:29 PM ^
What did that take them, three minutes?
Now that's knocking one off!
December 30th, 2020 at 6:57 PM ^
What a “Cheesy,” trophy.
December 30th, 2020 at 7:17 PM ^
Here's the replay of butterfingers....I mean mayofingers...
December 30th, 2020 at 7:35 PM ^
Taking a close look at Mertz's victory dance, it was actually the cheap Duke's Mayo Bowl that broke - the glass football becoming unhinged from the base, with the two separate pieces falling to the ground.
December 30th, 2020 at 9:11 PM ^
Fuck Wisconsin and their dirty players.
December 30th, 2020 at 9:45 PM ^
I think I read that it was Mertz (the QB) that broke it. Not 41 (Who I assume is a FB.) The big guys always get the blame!!
December 30th, 2020 at 10:13 PM ^
Wow, reading down through this thread is priceless. The mayo inferences are top notch even by Hellmans standards. .

That was hilarious! A big celebration...then a big uh-oh.
