OT: Bucks take 27 3-pointers in first half to overwhelm Duncan and the boys*

Cool story bro!

I love Duncan Robinson too, but do we need a thread when the Heat simply get blown out?

Hypothetically, Al Bundy never could have done this to Spare Tire Dixon; as the three point line didn’t exist in those days. Nonetheless, Polk High School appreciates Al’s efforts in the game of football.

Oh, we're doing this with every Heat game now...

Do you need a tissue?

I just let it dry instead.

My psychiatrist says post anything that keeps me from thinking about Harbaugh or the Lions.
He also tells me that if a post starts with OT that means you should not feel obliged to read it.

Ah, another obituary thread

Great update. Go to bed.....and stop

Well I'll give you credit: this thread was fairly prescient as the Bucks set an NBA record for 3 pointers made in a game with 29. I guess that counts as threadworthy.
In other NBA news, the Warriors picked up their team option for Jordan Poole's 3rd year. Good for him.

The proper MGoProtocol is to start an OP titled, "Jordan Poole", the content of which is "Warriors picked up his 3rd year. Good for him. DISCUSS."
There, FIFY.

I would've bet anything that the Warriors would've held that record with the Splash Brothers

How are the pistons doing? If they ever get good, I'll watch more NBA.

One of the worst teams in the league

The Pistons are playing it smart. They have an outstanding collection of young talent but need one more top draft pick to add to the puzzle. Having witnessed first hand the Dolphins stripping off parts tank job last year before moving in to most top 10 power rankings this week, I trust the Pistons top management. This is not the Lions we are talking about but one of the most frequent visitors to the NBA finals in the league.

You have a strong memory, since it's been 15 years +/- since Pistons have been to the finals.

They are tanking artfully this year, playing it straight for 3 quarters then manipulating their rotation and shot selection in the 4th to lose.

To my surprise the Pistons actually come in sixth (see here). However, they're still in the pack and (like everybody else in the NBA) well behind the Lakers and the Celtics.

EDIT: I deleted my comment. It was mean and stupid.
Happy new year, everyone.
