Real, meaningful CFB tonight: Coastal Carolina @ Louisiana - Lafayette
Never expected to claim a match up of these teams would ever be meaningful (to the greater CFB fanbase), but both teams are 3-0 and Louisiana is currently ranked.
Winner will certainly be ranked, with Louisiana maybe breaking top 15 with a decisive win... and both teams have been fun to watch this season.
It's college football. It's Wednesday night. It's all good.

Of course, both ESPN announcers shown in a confined press box together, no masks, sitting ~3 feet apart and speaking directly at each other.
Ok.

Let's hope so.

Could it be possible that both have been recently tested and are both negative???

I looked up what a Chanticleer is, it's a strong and proud rooster that dominates its barnyard, from Chaucer (Canterbury Tales)
Foghorn Leghorn comes to mind!

You ever see the animated movie rock a doodle?

the kids named our longest tenured rooster chanticleer. he was huge and a very cool rooster. we were all sad when he woke up dead a couple of years ago.

Spooktober is in full effect on the farm

indeed. he was a champ. smart, calm, alert. great combo for a rooster. there's been a few that we've had to find shovel ready jobs for because they lacked some of those qualities, even going after one or more of the kids. no bueno.

Hey XM, sorry to hear about your rooster.
I love animals of all kinds, my friends have 3 chickens, 2 parrots, an awesome golden retriever named Jezebel and a 60 yr. Old turtle named Morty, I love Morty...when they leave town, I get to feed the animals except Jezzy, they take her everywhere.

your kind of like the animal 'grand parent', you get to spend enough time to enjoy them and to have the novelty of them, without having to stay so long so that they become a pain in your side. a 6o yr old turtle is a lot, especially for a pet. pretty neat.
and it wasn't that big of a deal when chanticleer went to that great roost in heaven. no tears shed. i mean, we have hundreds of chickens at any one time, but a handful have gotten names over the years and the kids enjoy. once in a while there are cattle/sheep/goats/chickens that are basically more personable, more intelligent, than their brothers and sisters and we recognize that. we have one particular sheep like that right now, and it actually makes it easier to deal with the others because they will follow his lead, and he will do what we want him to do/go where we want him to go. farm life.

Sounds like you need to start handing out legends jerseys to the standouts of each species.

love the idea, but i can see problems with the execution - can you imagine trying to get one of those on a 1 ton steer? me neither.

If I was in a high school movie, I would be the shy, totally awkward kid who all the popular guys try to help me (by help I mean they made a bet) win prom king.

Lets see if BYU (already 4-0) can keep it going Friday night against Houston (at Houston)
BYU is my dark horse for the playoff.
