How many "What's your deal?" moments will we see?

“Very Harbaugh esque “ reporter is a real objective guy.

The website is called Wolverine Wire. Anyone expecting objectivity is a dunce.

Harbaugh on playing against a perennial playoff team: "The team, as I said, it's the model of success, football program." Notes all the playoff years. "The team, as you look at it, is a great defensive unit. They have really, really outstanding players and a great freshman group, too." Notes the linebackers and DL. "Experienced secondary -- very, very elite team. Credit to Nick Saban and the coaching staff. Our preparation will have to be at its highest level. Good to know who you're gonna play...it's a big time matchup, we're looking forward to it."

Our preparation will have to be at its highest level.
This is the key quote right here. We will need to revisit this after the bowl game.

What was the prep level for the Wisky, PSU & OSU games?
December 8th, 2019 at 5:56 PM ^
Shit
Pretty good
Ok
Hopefully they surpass “pretty good” against Alabama.

Not the highest level

Maybe Harbaugh is saving the good plays for Bama? And Brown is licking his chops for a 2nd and 19. He has something Alabama’s offense has never seen.

Maybe don’t roll out a 3-3-5 stack against bama.

Preparation only does so much for you. At some point, you have to have the players to execute what you need done. Which is often a difficult thing to do against teams like Bama (and OSU for that matter).
Michigan can have the perfect gameplan, but if Bama simply has enough talent, it won’t matter. You can’t defend everything.

Agreed. Not to be cliche, but.. "It's Not About the X's and the O's It's All About the Jimmy's and the Joe's." And sadly, we don't have the Jimmy's and Joe's to keep up with OSU, or Alabama.
This is where we're at as a program. Harbaugh, Gattis and Brown can scheme all they want but if too many players are overmatched athletically at some point it shows. We've seen it every year against OSU and we'll see it again against Bama.
Harbaugh is a very good coach (and unless we decide to sell our souls, pay players market rates, cheat and have lax academic/moral standards he's the best coach we're gonna get) but the talent gap is huge between us and OSU and definitely Alabama.

They (OSU/Bama) might be more talented, but to say this staff doesn’t have major flaws in their scheme and preparation is laughable. This gives them a solid shot to end the year. This staff needs a great game plan and ready to play in Q1 away from the Big House.

Bama will be too much. But I think it will be competitive. 31-20.

Beat Bama!
Go Blue!

This is going to be a royal ass whooping. Get ready. ESPN and SEC slappies going to love this. Michigan could maybe keep it respectable in AA say losing by 13 but away from home??? Count em as nearly 20 pt dogs.
Let's not kid ourselves, this gonna be ugly.
