A good point ?
December 4th, 2018 at 10:03 PM ^
Dude could dance, nasty moves!
December 5th, 2018 at 6:04 AM ^
Yes norfleet could play guard - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ngiZrry9I-4
December 4th, 2018 at 9:43 PM ^
AND paint your back porch? I think not.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:29 PM ^
I see what you did there mr. Brutus.
December 4th, 2018 at 11:45 PM ^
I think he's a tackle all the way. we have the depth at guard, so i see no reason why they'd take someone now that they'd project to guard.
December 4th, 2018 at 9:27 PM ^
Big ballz!
December 4th, 2018 at 9:28 PM ^
Trevor Keegan and Trente Jones following the class of Mayfield and Hayes sounds great. Especially with Ed coaching them up!
December 4th, 2018 at 9:34 PM ^
Ed is key. He turned Runyan and JBB into a functional OT tandem. Those guys under Drevno looked like a horror movie.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:18 PM ^
Who is more likely to be our starting tackles next year? Runyan and Steuber? or Runyan and Mayfield?
Also I wonder if Michigan will update their roster for the bowl season. I would love to see if Hayes is up to tackle sized yet. Or if some of the other freshman are physically ready for B1G play.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:22 PM ^
I'll say Mayfield
December 4th, 2018 at 10:33 PM ^
According to umbig11... Mayfield LT and Runyan RT. Take that FWIW.
December 5th, 2018 at 11:33 AM ^
How are people guessing Mayfield when Stueber has been the first to come in and/or start in place of JBB?
I would think it has to be Big Stoob.
December 5th, 2018 at 12:37 PM ^
They were keeping Mayfields red shirt intact
December 4th, 2018 at 9:35 PM ^
How the hell is Devontae Dobbs still committed to MSU? Did he not watch their offense the last three years?
December 4th, 2018 at 9:37 PM ^
Id imagine itd be hard for him to decommit at this point. He burnt a lot of bridges running his mouth after he committed.
December 4th, 2018 at 11:49 PM ^
Bridges can be rebuilt. Even if, say hypothetically the recruit tweeted something like "F*ck <insert team name here>" Hypothetically they still might take the kid.
December 5th, 2018 at 10:19 AM ^
Yea, but Dobbs made it personal about the coaches. I am sure some coaches would look past it for a five star but it is another hurdle he would have to deal with if he decommitted.
December 5th, 2018 at 5:05 AM ^
I seem to remember Aubrey Solomon running his mouth before committing.
December 4th, 2018 at 9:39 PM ^
He's a Sparty. Hard to believe, but scummy asshole little brother actually appeals to some people.
December 4th, 2018 at 9:44 PM ^
Maybe he doesn't want to have to go to class.
December 4th, 2018 at 9:53 PM ^
.....and didn't get an offer from THEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ohio!
December 5th, 2018 at 7:40 AM ^
...or maybe he has secret plans to spit on a parking enforcement officer to be named later. (Am I remembering that story correctly? Don't get old, folks.)
December 4th, 2018 at 9:55 PM ^
He’s soft. Not as tough this year as he was made out to be.
December 4th, 2018 at 9:55 PM ^
My two guesses are his grades are questionable or he likes the chicks on campus.
I guess I could go with the nice guy answer that MSU has produced some NFL linemen under Dantonio.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:21 PM ^
Julian Barnett would be the kid to flip. Dobbs is not going to light it up in the Big Ten
December 4th, 2018 at 10:29 PM ^
^^^You are correct!!^^^
December 4th, 2018 at 9:36 PM ^
Yeah, but can he play tackle?
December 4th, 2018 at 9:41 PM ^
He gone
December 4th, 2018 at 9:48 PM ^
I need to watch more film on him. What I have seen makes me think he is a guard. Ike is the guy I really want.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:06 PM ^
Who is Ike?
December 4th, 2018 at 10:19 PM ^
I agree. I likey Ike. I would be thrilled to have Keegan prove he is a good LT...I don't see it at this time.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:52 PM ^
May I ask what makes you think that? I don't know enough about football to have an opinion on position. I know OTs need more length generally.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:58 PM ^
Keegan looks slow, he lumbers. Not impressed with his feet. Ike looks much more athletic.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:59 PM ^
Ike is a high ceiling kid. Only been playing football a few years and is massive. In theory a tackle sized giant athletic man with Coach Ed to mold him could be really great. He also could have a lower floor where Keegan is likely a more known commodity. Both would be good gets IMO. Hopefully we start to build some depth at O-line in addition to a functional starting lineup to give these guys some chance to develop slowly.
December 5th, 2018 at 8:02 AM ^
That's right. Ike exudes confidence, takes great personal responsibility for getting the job done and plays hard-has a killer instinct...love his interviews-this kid has it. He's a very large young man with excellent feet. His ceiling seems to be very high. Keegan is good...don't get me wrong...but he is more Bredeson than Newsome.
December 5th, 2018 at 9:05 AM ^
Ike is also taking a 3 day official trip (14th-16th) to A2 the weekend before signing day.
December 4th, 2018 at 9:58 PM ^
Who's got some tackles now? THESE GUYS
December 4th, 2018 at 10:12 PM ^
Oh man, really? This is taking the pain edge off the Ohio St game.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:18 PM ^
Good, he can start yesterday.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:25 PM ^

December 4th, 2018 at 10:25 PM ^
Is the conventional wisdom still saying Zach Harrison to UofM? Or is that no longer the case after OSU?
This is really good news. I feel like an actual elite OT is the one thing UofM is truly missing at this point. If we had Isaiah Wilson this year, things would have been even better.
December 4th, 2018 at 10:29 PM ^
Yeah pretty much. If Larry Johnson ends up going to Maryland to be DC, it would be pretty much for sure. Biggest question is if Meyer leaving actually makes the program cleaner and therefore more attractive to Harrison. Also Harrison's mom is a big Meyer fan and so she may end up opening up for Michigan as well.
December 4th, 2018 at 11:55 PM ^
From what I've seen, parents have blinders on when it comes to looking for clean programs. They want their sons to achieve their dreams, which in most cases is the NFL. They look at a coach like Meyer as someone who can get their son there. They are willing to overlook some red flags to do so.
I think in the short run, this hurts recruiting. The long run is unclear.
December 5th, 2018 at 12:27 AM ^
In reality, there are few flags thrown at OSU, red, yellow, or otherwise.
December 4th, 2018 at 11:07 PM ^
These are the type of players we need.
December 4th, 2018 at 11:11 PM ^
Ryan Day at the presser today: Ohio State football expectations became very clear very early. Win the big rivalry game (smiles) then win every game after that.
Come to Michigan, Keegan, and make Day a failure at his #1 goal.
December 5th, 2018 at 2:50 AM ^
What about the 10 or 11 games before 'the big rivalry game'? OSU loses to Rutgers :)
December 4th, 2018 at 11:39 PM ^
I get very excited for these balls...
