Per SI's  Pete Thamel

Probably a good idea for the kid

MOD EDIT: To combine the OSU-related news, we'll continue the Shazier discussion, which started here but became its own thread, in this one. - LSA

IMO, he is the best QB he's ever had start for him a full year or two. He is better than Tebow in every way but vocal leadership, imo. Outstanding runner - instinctive in the open field like a WR or HB, knows when to tuck and run/run off defenders for gimme run yards, etc. He is off similar build, his size for a kid with his mobility. He has a strong arm but does lack consistency in accuracy. An NFL coach/GM will always think they can fix a kid. Again, Tebow. They knew they'd sell jerseys but they also truly thought they could fix his delivery, accuracy, etc. Basically, had he gone (and as a non biased fan for a second think he should have) I think he'd easily be off the board by the 4th round. He has no weakness that every NFL OC/QB coach would see as a lost cause. I could see him being a late 2nd given the running QB trend and the run that week happen post Bridgewater, the UCF kid, Boyd, etc. IMO, Miller cab web a game by himself. As a UM fan I wanted him gone this year but even if a.....Tulsa fan, I'd think he should go. If for nothing more than the beating he's been taking in a week B1G.

This is odd because I want him to go pro, but I genuinely believe he should go pro. Maybe this is naive of me to say, but I don't believe he is going to get much better. Outside of passing and maybe some general decision making he already has it all. He is an incredible runner and already has the body size. To me, I don't see him getting much better on the passing end. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see it. My bet is he comes back and ends up exactly where he would be right now.

decided one way or the other, not sure how SI would know this lol. He very well could decide to return, but he definitely hasn't made a declaration.  Shazier on the other hand, yeah...he gone.

Clemson DL pushed them back and continually harrassed and hurried Miller. That said, he still will be a handful next year.

I wish he would have left.
