The NFL sucks in general.
Regarding the NCAA games, I'm watching the MSUs versus Kentucky game. I really like these Thursday night games, but I'm likely going to hate it when M plays at Utah in a couple of years on the first Thursday night. Thursday night road games for the favored team are oftentimes a recipe for an upset.

in the face on the Tampa Bay sideline.

Apparently, you only get one shot at tackling Ryan Timmons sometimes, and Mississippi State missed that time. A 51-yard TD reception ties this one at 7-7 after the PAT.

It's early yet, but Mississippi State is averaging 14.09 yards per offensive snap after those first two drives. They are allowing 7.5 yards per snap, so we could be setting up for a bit of a shootout albeit a lopsided one.

I'll be cheering for Miss St. in this one because UK is starting to take a lot of guys out of Big Ten territory (mostly Ohio). Let us keep that talent up here.

And let's snatch some more from KY, like Damien Harris.

Initially I didn't see it at home, either, however replays made it quite clear: he very obviously punched the UK ballcarrier at the bottom of that pileup, right in front of an official. Looked like two or three quick jabs to the head/helmet area. I would expect a game suspension.

This game started fast with three touchdowns, but has since slowed. I need MOAR offense.

I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow, too.

Well, there are nearly 500 yards of combined offense in the Kentucky-Missisippi State game right now (496 yards, to be exact). The Bulldogs are still outgaining the Wildcats, except now it is more like a 7 to 5 yard margin, not 14 to 7. The game has indeed slowed down a little bit. Of note, there are 27 first downs gained in this game so far.

Damn. This thread is dead. Thought there would be more people posting. I know this isn't exactly the greatest Thursday night game all season, but it's college football.

Go (the real) BIg Blue! Beat the bulldogs! Now or never last drive.

Huge game-saving tackle when it looked like Wildcat(pun intended) QB was going to score a long TD run. Too bad that Big Blue lost to MSU.

Hopefully the real Blue will beat MSU next week. Who really cares about that game last night?

3 football games were on last night. 0 of them caught my attention. Worst Thursday in football so far.
They only day in football worse than last night was the Monday night game with the Vikings and Giants. That was painful.

I loved how Mark May picked the "Ohio Buckeyes" to lose to Penn State in his upset alert.
