Oh, s***. I guess it's MSU.
ohio was meant to be the last of the three visits so I don't see any great advantage to them from this news.... I'll go with Sam Webb and continue to think we have a good shot.
just says he won't be taking his planned visits, which were to be this weekend. That said, with a decision just two weeks away it's a good assumption that he really won't take any more visits, but that's not what his tweet said.
with one of his blatant commitment-spoiler tweets like he did with Jabrill Peppers a few weeks prior to his announcement.
I'm always in favor of additional offensive line depth but if this does go Ohio's way it won't be a "traveshamockery" by any stretch. Still he's a good player and i'd like to have him in AA
I look at it as some of the above poster did. He didn't say he won't take ANY visits again, just that his planned ones aren't going to happen. Those planned ones were this weekend. He could also push back his decision date b/c the current visits aren't going to happen right now.
Of course, he could have gotten a hard sell from Meyer and decided he didn't wanna screw around and go with OSU at this point. If that's the case, his recruitment might not be completely over. Hard sells don't really seem to work when it's just a verbal commitment.

Nothing that screams OSU over there.
So if he chooses Ohio over us, do we create a thread saying that he wasn't a right fit for the program and that the coaches want guys who fight in practice and always have a competitive demeanor about them?

You don't even have to write anything. Just cut and paste any one of the hundreds of 11w posts over the last two weeks.
....You ever go over to 11W on WEEEEEDD? I kid I kid, but I do like reading all the remarks in Macho Man Randy Savages voice over there.
If he comes here (or even MSU), that's obviously a huge blow to Urban & Friends. Jones would be a great, welcomed addition to this class, but we can afford to miss out on him much more than Ohio State. I won't get my hopes up too much, though.
It is neither a huge blow to Meyer, nor is it unlikely he goes to MSU... he'd be the star at MSU with nearly guaranteed playing time, and that may be appealing to him.
If OSU misses out on a top-50 OL prospect that has favored them throughout the entire process after mediocre recruiting at that position for the past few years, only to have said prospect go to their biggest rival, that is a huge blow to them. OSU can offer him nearly guaranteed playing time as well. If an o-lineman wants to be the star of a team then he needs to switch positions.
Not possible. They wouldn't call it crystal ball if it could be wrong...
as previously scheduled.
Per twitter now, the visits are back on as planned.
JJ is now visiting all 3 schools as planned. Go to espn and look at our page.
