OT - maize/blue striped shirts/sleeves?
I noticed a good portion of the student section wearing maize and blue striped sleeves. It looked like the other student sections had similar gear. Was this something they all got with their FF student tix? Or do they all just shop at the same place?
Anyway, I'm looking to get a pair or two for a friend. Does anyone know where I might find any?
TIA

Givne that all the student sections had them (obviously they weren't all maize and blue, but...), this leads me to believe that they came with the tickets. I guess the NCAA is sponsored by a putting-socks-on-your-arms company or something.

The sleeves were given out to every student on Saturday along with a pair of glasses. Then on Monday they gave every student a head band and final four towel. I didn't bring my sleeves home, but a couple of my housemates did.

3) you will someday say this word as a pejorative in front of someone you care about that is gay and you will feel awful about it, like i did. It's a good idea to change your thinking on that word, no matter how funny you might think you are.
and don't use the R-word either! That shits wack.

I feel like I can't even call you an overly sensitive clown without being moderated by someone. It's sad when the idea of civility is more powerful than the truth.

It's sad to me that our school system is failing us because children's vocabulary don't consist of better adjectives

lol - I knew that comment was coming when I posted... But they actually are for a female friend who calls uniforms "outfits" and the extent of her sports knowledge ends with "Tom Brady? Oh he's the cute one..."

It's surprising to me how little people think. Slurs can be used for comic effect sure, but slurs against marginalized, persecuted, and shamed minorities are tacky and in extremely poor taste. When will we start using a slur for "educated white male" to describe things?
Oh wait, not surprised at all.

After looking at the pictures, I believe these sleeves say "HULU" on them. I have found them at:

and
http://www.scribblinsisters.com/rogospsl.html
They also have some different ones at:
Once in awhile, you'll see some on ebay, too...
