That's an argument. But going into his junior season and his first season with the new coaching staff, Denard was coming off breaking all kinds of records in his first season as a starter, and Gardner never really impressed as a QB in the offseason. Michigan didn't have any proven RB or any real playmakers at WR, so it made sense to stick with Denard as the focal point of a spread run offense.

No way EA could have gone with the TAMU guy whose name I, along with probably most CFB fans outside of Texas, can't remember.
Much rejoicing about virtualy nothing.
Anyone else really want to see what that A&M fan who was claiming that his inside sources at EA said that Swope was the winner thinks about this?
I don't even have a PS3 but I'll buy one in case he gets royalties based on sales.
That's a great cover and a fitting end for a good student and athlete. Surprised that they keep referring to a "tense" race with Swope considering once the voting discrepancies came to light the difference was still pretty significant.
I don't know if that will end up being the actual cover, I know last year for RGIII they had a big to-do about the photo shoot for the cover.
Definitely not the final cover.

Lets hope he doesn't end up on the Madden cover in a few years.

Hooray for keeping the streak alive of having a Wolverine appear on the cover, for every decade NCAA Football has existed. Thanks to Denard, we're safe until the 2020s #meaninglessfluff
