Michigan Stadium Fire Alarm Test
If you've ever thought to yourself, "I'd like to spend 30 seconds of my life watching strobe lights go off at Michigan Stadium", then I have the video for you. I honestly have no idea why I found it so enthralling, yet I stood around thinking how you could run a pretty good night club in there with the strobes and the klaxon. Plus the sequential firing of lights by floor is nice a touch. It's reassuring to know our stadium will look good even as a hundred twenty thousand people flee in the walls of flames ravaging it. The barely audible voice on the video is saying that the sound is a fire alarm and you should carefully proceed to the nearest exit.
For the worry prone types, it is just a system test. I hung around for 10 minutes and no emergency vehicles came flying out of the DPS station across the parking lot. Also no sign of the Ann Arbor Fire Department.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it.

Don't worry I thought the same thing for a second. He did a superb job of hiding the link for those of us who like to skim and cut to the chase.

Sorry, I'm holding out hope that the next redesign makes hyperlinks more noticable so it will be less of an issue.

That's okay. I honestly thought I was the only one who struggled with it (because I'm color blind) but it's nice to know others do as well.

All you have to do is to underline the link to make it more visible.

Done, the annoying rich text editor makes it appear underlined during content creation, but not once you post it.
I ran into the same issue when posting a few days ago. The RT editor showed the link (undelined text) and I thought it disappeared when the post went live. Nope. It was just really hard to see.

DB may now rent out the stadium for your nightclub idea, you know he reads the blog...

In case of spontaneous MSU couch fires, pull alarm.

Speaking of the Big House, anyone know if they have started painting it? I remember last year there was an article that said it was suppose to be done in February.

If a fire alarm test floats your boat, I can only imagine what fireworks must do.

Gerg says that if he is going to die, he will go down with the burning Big House #GoBlue4Life

LET'S...GO...BLUE
LET'S...GO...BLUE
Fire alarm goes off and absolutely no one moves anywhere
But holy hell what a disaster that would be. I would just assume run to the middle of the field and wait it out than attempt to actually exit the stadium.
It's mostly cement and metal. I think it's mostly for emergencies other than fire. Now you can worry about all those too.
I bet if you had stayed longer you would have seen it take off back to the mothership.
That's okay. I can see the Big House from my office. I saw its replacement land at noon, just like we planned.
