No ND in 2015-17
According to Larry Lage on twitter, ND has canceled the 2015-17 games with Michigan.
#NotreDame has notified #Michigan it is exercising a 3-year out in their contract, meaning their last scheduled game will bein 2014
A letter from ND AD Swarbrick to UM AD Brandon cancelling games in 2015-17 was obtained by AP through a Freedom of Information Act request

Or we can keep it and give them two going away beatdowns.

the series resumes, hopefully the 3 year hiatus, as opposed to 2, means that Notre Dame (and MSU) would be home when OSU and Nebraska are away.

Ron Simpkins wrote a great article a week ago or so on the ND games. He said it was time to dump them. They have played the Big Ten for suckers for years. They never wanted any part of the Big Ten because they didn't want to play all the teams every year. They always like to fill the schedule with easy games and sprinkle in a few tough teams. I hope I never see another game with ND.

Prefer ND, but if not Texas would be awesome.

Oh piss on Notre Dame. For all their talk about tradition, they are just like the rest of 'em.....its only about the money. Fine. See ya later. Good luck finishing middle of the pack in the ACC. Because when I think of the Atlantic Coast, I naturally think of Northern Indiana.

Won't happen, but I am tired of Notre Dame's self-righetousness with their independent status. Part of me wishes all BigTen schools would drop them from scheduling. I would miss the traditional rivalry, even though we didn't play them every year.
I actually think this may turn in to a positive though. I've always wanted to see us play teams from around the country more...Georgia, Florida, Arizona State, Boston College, etc...

I'm getting sick of playing them every year - tradition or no tradition. And in a couple years, when Michigan has fully re-loaded, and has a fully-installed pro offense and bad ass defense, it wouldn't be that competitive of a game anyway. Playing an SEC team or upper division Pac-12 team is the direction we should be going.
