Derrick Green sighting at 7-on-7
I saw Derrick Green at a 7-on-7 tournament yesterday. I didn't watch him throughout the entire day, but I kept an eye on him whenever possible. Seven-on-seven isn't extremely helpful for scouting running backs, but I thought a report might be interesting since he and Jordan Wilkins are the only two guys left on Michigan's running back board.
Michigan recently offered RB Eric Moate out of Tampa, FL. Given it was recent, I'm assuming he's on their board as well.
Moate is pretty quiet, and it sounds like he may have been offered a while ago but didn't immediately report it. He has also said that most teams are recruiting him for defensive back. Considering he's 5'11" and 170 lbs. (which would make him the smallest running back on Michigan's offer board), my guess is that Michigan wants him at cornerback.
Our old friend, said that as of Friday, Eric Moate had not been offerred, which might make more sense than him being offered and not telling anyone about it.
EDIT: My foggy morning vision didn't see the link, my first neg...lol
I just got off the phone with Eric. He says Michigan hasn't offered and that he hasn't heard from them in about two months. What's weird is that this article (in which he's interviewed) from earlier in the week claims he has an offer from Michigan.
Overall: Nothing to see here.
That's the article I read and the reason I listed him as having an offer. Strange...
Shane is impressed:

Just got done watching all 10min and 15secs of RB Derrick Greens highlight tape... Someone help me out and sent me his twitter name! #GoBlue
I bet Shane Morris is an avid reader of "Touch the Banner."
Probably just likes the bewbs.
That's the only reason I like it, too.
Touch the Boobies?
No touching is allowed, you perv.
Quick, someone send Darren Carrington's highlights to Shane! We could use another playmaker!
...is listed as one of Rivals' risers in this article. Expect him to make a strong move up from his current rank of 64 when the latest re-rankings are released this week.
No one in the country looks better on the hoof at running back than Green and he showed he has improved his ability to be an every down back in college.
