Early Morning EPL thread
Figure it's the offseason and there is a small group of cult soccer fans here... couple big games going on this morning:
Arsenal v Norwhich City, Arsenal is only 1 point ahead of 4th and 5th place teams. It's going to be a tight finish for the Champions League places this year.
11:00 central time: FA Cup final: Liverpool v Chelsea
Also plenty of transfer rumors to discuss.
And now Arsenal is down 2-1 thanks to a goalkeeping error and a lucky bounce.
Van Persie is going to look great playing somewhere else in 1-2 years.
Arsenal deserved like 3 goals within the last 3 minutes plus stoppage time. Wow.
what a finish.
As much as I feel for the gooners, you have to feel good for Norwich... They were aggressive and positive and got rewarded for it.
I guarantee that in the FA Cup final niether Chelsea nor Liverpool will play as positive as Norwhich did today.
Norwich are the Novaks of the Prem. No stars, but the team, the team, the team. No respect from the pundits, but grit, grit, grit against the Goliaths.
Why can't you spell Norwich correctly?
What an entertaining game, especially the second half. I guess this makes the Newcastle/Man City game even more interesting.
Just woke up to this result, hell yes! Spurs have a clear line to 3rd place again, after all we've been through the past few months. The way we've been playing the past two games, I say we take it. COYS!
Spurs!!
We?
1-0 Chelsea early on in the FA Cup final. Teams look mostly even, but Liverpool has committed the critical error, giving up a soft goal on a bad giveaway.
I really hope Clint Dempsey goes somewhere other than Liverpool next year. Like Schalke or Gladbach.
So apparently when Sagna went down unchallenged during the game it was because he broke his fibula receiving a pass.
