OT- Tigers Open Thread 4/14
Exactly how are you defining potential? He had a lot of chances and was about a .250 hitter without much power.
I guess I'm just surprised that we let him go for Inge. I just don't understand how we continue to give him this many chances.
Inge has a huge contract and for a few different reasons, he is a fan favorite. There isn't much Leyland can do with Inge other than keeping him on the end of his bench to be used in situations.
Must have been all of those Inge fans yelling Boo Urns on opening day in the D.
Second grade math lesson for you
.197 < .250
Lame... you home or out?
/jokes because it's April and who gives a shit
Fuck I am fucking hungry and I don't want to eat at the bar.
/Also, fuck "Pauly"
And his dad is an Elway-suck-face-douche.
I can't understand why they keep trotting him out there. Has he had a single positive appearance yet?
At least there won't be a shutout!
Hah its April..... That said the sox have been the better team this weekend, but is shit talking really necessary on the 2nd weekend of the year?
dude, seriously it is April. Come talk to me in August when the Sox are having a fire sale.
Inge is up. this is a guaranteed out.
I'm curious as to what Sox fans think of Beckham, he was so highly touted and aside from his rookie year he looks like complete garbage at the plate. I don't watch the Sox all that often so I would like some feedback as to what some of you think.
P.S. can we have Chris Sale please, we'll give you Binge and his, "great worth ethic."
but he's one of the best fielding 2B in baseball. So it's a tradeoff and his fielding gives us reasons to be optimistic that he'll be a good hitter too, however irrational that is haha.
consider it. He's crazy.
Oh, wait. He knows more about baseball than..........
He's mentally broken and completely lost at the plate right now, no one really knows what the hell happened to him from being considered a can't-miss guy before the draft and hitting well his rookie year and then just falling apart. Thing is, he's above average defensively and they don't really have anyone else to replace him -- the backup middle infielder on the roster is another good glove/suspect bat guy. So they'll keep running him out there hoping he figures it out.
The former Angels "can't miss" prospect. He killed minor league pitching, but just never clicked in the majors.
Ha almost every Tigers comment got a -1, and every Sox comment got a +1, whoever you are you suck.
Why do we suck so bad every time we play in this ballpark?
