OT- Walking Dead/Sunday Night open thread
Well less than hour from the season 2 finale of the Walking Dead, some lingering questions still remain, and hopefully we'll get plenty of answers tonight.
If you're not caught up with the show/novels than *SPOILERS AHEAD*
- How's Rick going to break the news about Shane?
- Will we see appearances of either Michonne or Tyrese (could T-Dog be the shitty Tyrese replacement?)
- Where are they going to go after the farm, maybe the Prison or possibly Woodbury?
Feel free to use this as the Sunday night open thread if you wish to talk about the March Madness events, or the Pistons choking away a road game to the Clips.
I'm on west coast time. It's going to be hard to stay away form this thread.
I'm sure most of us with be courteous enough to have some spoiler alert signs for you West Coasters.
Does anyone know a good site to watch it on? I unfortunately do not and can not get AMC. I've been watching it online at www.watchseries.eu. For some reason yesterday's episode will not work. I'm addicted and want to continue watching. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(save it everyone, it's on the "to watch" list, don't worry), but I am looking forward to new Luck, Californication and Eastbound and Down tonight.
Sitting here in my living room while the girlfriend watches Harry Potter and reads some impressive sounding engineering book, about to crack open a beer and crack the windows. Another beautiful night.
about her pitching in there somewhere.
I don't know how you engineering types do it; I can see the lure of some of the "sexy" jobs building jet engines or a new biomedical device and everything, but the work itself...let's just say it doesn't seem like my thing.
More props to all of you that do it, though; I don't know many engineering students back at IU to compare salaries with, but I bet at M the average engineering student has better financial prospects than the average Ford student, (my field) to say the least, so you're obviously wanted/needed by the world.
You're right. That's too bad, I was starting to enjoy it and everything.
i just started watching this show today and really enjoy it!
Can't wait till the season 5 premier next Sunday. Sorry, i know it is not on tonight but one of the best shows on TV is finally coming back in a week.
I love Mad Men, and it needs to be on again. Two hours is a damn long premiere, though (not that I'm not looking forward to it).
They are starting it at 9 as oppose to 10. I had the same thought as you though.
I would personally fellate each and every writer if Lori and Carl were to bite it this episode.
True that. I'm tired of those f***ers not watching that brat. Stay in the damn house Carl!
i must also add im pretty pumped for Worst Cooks in Amercia tonight as well!
Walking dead is horribly overrated, IMO. I am looking forward to Californication and Eastbound and Down, though. Can't wait for Mad Men next Sunday.
I've heard some VERY interesting things about what will happen in this finale. I won't share any of them here but will give a couple teasers. These are all rumors so don't take any of this too seriously.
For those of you who have followed the comics (not me), there may be a location change at the end of the episode that will be familiar too you.
There is also rumors of a certain new character from the comics being introduced near the end of tonight's episode.
I have also heard that this finale is going to be INTENSE. So....buckle up I guess? Is that only for recruiting?
Enjoy!
Shit's gonna get pretty good next season with the introduction of The Governor. Should be fun and a whole 'nother level of grim.
Does anyone know where I can watch it online?
Anyone else a Shameless watcher?
I think we'll see a lot of good guys fall in this episode. It was hard enough losing Dale
I'm not sure we'll see all that many characters killed. If people do die it will probably be the crappy support characters from Hershel's camp that have only shown up about 5 minutes total this season. Personally I know we all want Lori and Carl dead, but sorry that's not happening.
But not gonna happen. Actually in the comic Andrea and Carl are pretty decent characters. In the TV show, Lori and Ricks are the worst parents in the world: You have one son, the world is crawling with flesh-eating zombies, and you can't keep track of him or keep him from wandering off for even a few minutes.
The prison seems like the logical next stage for the show to go, but they're going to need to introduce Michonne and Tyreese to have it follow the comic.
Well the The Governor is cast for next season, so Woodbury doesn't seem too far in the future.
omgomgomg starting now
Glad to see they didn't take Jon Bernthal aka Shane out of the credits.
See, Shane had it all wrong. He should have killed DB Lori and raised Carl jointly with Rick.
The Walking Fabulous*
The Walking (I Wouldn't Be Caught) Dead (Wearing That)
Top Chef: Just Flesh
The Dead Housewives of Atlanta
Bethenny Getting Eaten
*SPOILER*
And Jimmy is the first crappy character to die.
PS: Holy shit Prometheus trailer, Ridley Scott is the man.
that got eaten? Didn't recognize him.
Herschel ain't too bad with that 12 guage.
