Nice video highlighting Jeremy Gallon's development and relationship with Coach Heck.
There's also another new video, with some firsts and career stats updates for Denard, Hemingway, and others.

I really like Gallon and I'm glad that he is having success in the new system. I still get goosebumps when I watch him engage his cloaking device against ND.

doing well this year. I can't lie, I was really unimpressed with him last year and wondered why is this guy playing? I can honestly say that with his work ethic I've been proved wrong about my observations from last year. He's like a whole new player out there.

Ha, that's awesome. He's definitely one guy on this years team that has been growing on me. I didn't know too much or didn't expect much out of him this season, but he's been a great improvement. He's helped with the lack of Stonum this year. And I love his toughness. There seems to be a thing with our little guys, V Smith, Gallon, and Odoms, all very tough guys.

If you had asked me pre-season to project our Top 5 receivers at this point in 2011 my list would have included Hemingway, Roundtree, Odoms, Koger, Stokes and Jackson. Gallon seemed to be an undersized Slottish WR and candidate for a transfer. WRONG! He was our leading receiver up until the Iowa game (Hemingway just passed him) and a big time contributor game after game (not to mention he's shored up a major weakness as a solid Punt Returner). Hard work, patience and perseverence pay off. He should be a shining example to the kids who get frustrtated by lack of PT as True Freshman and decide to transfer...

its like he had velcro bonded onto the inside of his hands over the summer. Great player; great attitude.

and yet one more reason not to hate on a young player.
On a similar note: I hope young Mr. Johnson shoves it right back where it came from.

I like that he has the kind of drive. I'll be rooting for him to prove his doubters wrong.

After reading about his time in the 'Breakfast Club' in Three and Out, I like his even more. Guy is a hard worker.

I couldn't help but think of Gallon and get a chuckle when the Purdue blog writer said that the Boilermakers had to watch out for the tall Michigan receivers out jumping the cornerbacks for the ball.
